Photos: Meet a male Accounting graduate who hawks food in a wheelbarrow in Ekpoma, Edo State

A Facebook user, Daniel Usifoh, a male university graduate who makes a living by selling cooked food at a motor park in Ekpoma, Edo State. What he wrote after the cut...

"I saw this man on my way to PH hawking cooked food in wheelbarrow this morning in Ekpoma, Edo State. I was moved to patronize him even when I was never hungry. Guess what...... he is an accountant, he graduated 4yrs ago but never got any job. He decided to go catering school. Today he stepped out in the streets of Ekpoma where he graduated from to do his first personal business ever. I asked why he decided to go this way and his response was WOW. He said "bros wetin I go do na, hence there is no job anywhere and I am the first son of my parent I decided to go this way rather than becoming an armed rubber to take care of those who took care of me from childhood before they die in regrets". You know what..... he is an Igbo man... I respect his courage...."

    2. This was exactly my plan to go for catering school but the fund wasn't there,i wrote sometime back here self pleading for assistant of 50k for the catering school I was called all sort of names but mine isn't to be hawking food anyway. One thing with life, we shouldn't use our mouths to be condemning others, you never know what those persons are going through,People are suffering! It's good for you doesn't mean it's good for others. sometimes you have an idea but no fund to push it further, sometimes this ordinary food people throw away in their houses, you look for it sometimes to feed on just a day but wouldn't get a proper meal. you've searched for work here and there yet you find non, when you asked relatives for help, they keep posting you here and there. Anyway let me use this medium to asked for an assistant of 50k ones again for help in going for catering school, please I beg in God's name. at least when one is going out, you come across people and get to hear of informations on things that can help take one far in life. agatachi33@gmail.com .That's my email in case anyone feel like reaching out to me out but if non, the struggle still continues, when there is life there is always hope.

    9. Really,am surprised at this comment cause really is not about how much he makes in a day as a graduate,do u think his dream is to be selling food in a wheel barrow, my dear u should try it for just a day and see how hard it is,waking up early to prepare d food and walking different street in other to sell..not easy, who does not want to sit in an air conditioning office and work..so more grace to his elbows for swallowing his pride and making a decision to be somebody.

  5. Nigerians automatically think anyone selling food or doing small jobs is suffering, because they ain't on suits, heels, fancy bags? Even danfo drivers make a whole lot, just that they don't invest well or do anything meaningful with the cash, most of them anyway
