Photos: College of Education, Katsina-ala Students protest over tuition fee increment

Students of the Benue state College of Education Katsina-Ala, Benue State this morning protested over the sudden increment of their tuition fee. According to an eyewitness, it caused a total disruption of academic activities. The first/second gate of the college were locked and the gate leading to the administrative block of the college was also closed with palm leaves tied on it by angry students.

The situation is however now under control following the intervention of the deputy provost academics Mr. D. Hindi. He pledged to convey their message to the provost Prof O.N. Nder and the students were instructed to report on campus tomorrow for the provost's speech.

  13. That would be unfair to some students who does not aware about this sudden tuition fee increased. This is not an ideal way for this college school to do since many of the students will be affected, knowing that it is really hard for now to spend money to sustain in a high tuition fee education.
