Africa has the sole responsibility to balance the world as its center - Ooni Of Ife

The Ooni of Ife Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi shared this on his IG page. He wrote:

There were no boundaries in Africa until the 1894 Berlin conference, we should forget these boundaries and focus on the strength of bond of our natural togetherness created by our earliest ancestors. -- Africa has the sole responsibility to balance the world as its center. This can only be achieved if we all come together and see ourselves as one. #OoniofIfe #AroleOduduwa #TogetherinProgress #OneAfrica #AfricaRising #Otisese #OoniOgunwusi #OloriWuraola #AdimulaYoruba

    1. #SMH for u. Are you married? Well, I doubt. Because if you are, you will know that relationship with your wife/husband is not centered on WHAT you are but on WHO you are. He is a husband, let him act it.

  3. This an example of youthful leader, imagine having young and vibrant ppl running the nation, not some old power monger that wants to die in govt forcing themselves on the populace like they have a unique plan for country.

  16. Well said, I respect this Ooni a lot..., but sir You start it first, cos all I see is boundary in your home by totally shutting your first wife out of your life. Woman who had been with you from the onset. You have the strength to balance your home...It begins with US

    1. @Hadiza d Judge, try n get a brief from Kabiyesi n his first wife before you pokenose into their marital affairs. The man is trying to make some sense, see where u corner him. Being Kabiyesi's wife does not end in glamour as u can see. It's a full time job not every woman desires it. I have met a lady who said she can never marry a king and if after marriage d man eventually becomes a king, that ends d marriage. What about that?? Ride on sir!

  17. You spoke well, but it's not gonna be possible. There is a people and a sec who have become the cancer of the world. They don't integrate with other, neither do they tolerate peaceful coexistence. So you see, it's like trying to mix kerosene and water together, it wldnt work!

    1. Thanks a lot...very wise statement there! Some people have invested so much in hatred that the only threatening thing they could imagine is peace.

  19. 100% behind you Ooni. Until d scramble for Africa, we were one big people. Our huge, heterogeneous society was something of a mystery to the colonists. They may call us backward but Ife bronze art and Mbari art litter their premier art institutions. We should look to our fathers and their gods and take a cue.

  25. Whether the Ooni stands or sits for a photo he's still the Ooni. It takes nothing from him. All you small minded people with inferiority complexes should take several seats back. God knows how you treat your wives and daughters. Wicked people

The Berlin conference was in 1884/1885 not 1894. Though the seating arrangement seems currently fashionable but I see this as a Royal Taboo that must be consciously addressed. Men have 'Sovereignty' while women have 'Suzerainty' and none should be relinquished for each other to avoid disorder. Like every human, the Ooni is susceptible to mistakes and like every wise leader he should listen to corrections.
