    3. Fashola too like money, he is very greedy! Why take 3 ministries to ur self if not greed. It's only a greedy man that goes to a friends house and his offered rice, beans, eba, fufu, akara, moi moi and will not reject it. A normal person like my self would say just get me a glass of water and that will do! Fashola shop o! U go soon vomit ole!

    1. Well said. Any responsible government would put round pegs in round holes. Why appoint a lawyer as Min of Power? We need a professionally trained electrical engineer in that sector. No investor would come to a country where there is no power.

  35. How can he be satisfied? The senator just said it as it is. We are supposed to be seeing an improvement in power supply if truly efforts are being made in the power sector. But it's now so bad that sometimes there won't even be a blink of light from PHCN in 2-3 weeks. Last year, before this administration, the light situation was better.

  44. The Senator is speaking the mind of most Nigerians, however, the present Minister is a kinda handicap...with the daily NDA pipeline vandalization, poor state of the hydro power generating system, there is little the minister can do under this condition.

This senator is an example of the tragedy of our situation as a nation, senators are supposed to be better informed than the citizens. It is a big shame for him not to know what is going on, what the challenges are and how they are being tackled.
A ministry or department only needs a head/leader that can get the team to work together, the head or minister is not the one doing the job. The minister has daily/weekly briefings and has perm secs working these ministries to bring results to the table. The minister sets target for hear of his direct reports and there is routine review of the targets to ensure results will be achieved.
It is like a minister asking why our foreign reserve is down! The qualities of leaders we get are the reasons we are in this terrible state as a nation.

Senator sani, please educate yourself properly and leave sentiments out of your comments so you don't continue to make a fool of yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Stop being stupid. I have light in Lekki where I am. The problem in this country is the PDP. All the mess we are facing is as a result of their ineptitude and sabotage. When they ought to work together to make things work, they ensure the other party fails so they can grab power. During the elections, it's allowed, but when the elections are over we are suppose to unite to take the nation forward, by proffering solutions and advise, not trying to mislead the people that voted you in. A bunch of egocentric idiots.
