Toyin Lawani claps back at fans who criticized her for allowing her daughter to go to 'Prom'

Fashion Designer, Toyin Lawani didn't hesitate to clap back at two people who commented on her IG post where she showed off her daughter Tiannah on her way to prom. The commenters felt Toyin's daughter was too young to be attending 'Prom' - which was what Toyin described the supposed event as. She however swiftly clapped back at them and explained that it was more of a farewell school party. See her response after the cut.

  17. She is very rude, their questions were not out of place, prom is when you are leaving high school,of which she still looks very young to be doing. she just needed to clarify that instead of writing that rude epistle.

  18. People think because this people are celebs,it gives them the right to insult them, her childs graduation is a thing of joy,why cant she celebrate the girl, people need to start minding their own buisness,Dont see what she did wrong, she never asked for their opinion.she saying she should let her child grow is so wrong,go and Born your own and do as you wish.

  19. You put your business, your followers ask a legitimate question, and you got your stinky panties all in a bunch. Nasty a** bitch. You even said it yourself, 'can't believe she all grown'. We need to stop forming bull crap and senseless copying of another country's culture. Proms are for people graduating from high school. Your daughter obviously is not old enough to graduate high school, and people have a right to ask questions, you clueless clown!

  22. I had my Prom when I was 14 because this was the age I graduated. There was no alcohol and nosex, just students looking forward to university. I don't understand what is meant by allow her grow? SHould I have missed my prom and come back from university later on when i was grown? Stupid comments to be very honest. Schools in Nigeria are a thousand times more strict than us so stop pushing your perverted views on innocent outings

  23. CHEI! IGNORANCE IS NOT A GOOD THING AT ALL!!! FROM THE COMMENTS, I CAN TELL THAT A LOT OF PEEPS ON THIS POST DON'T EVEN KNOW THE DEFINITION OF THE WORD 'PROM'. PLS IF YOUR SECONDARY SCHOOL NEVER ORGANISED A PROM NIGHT FOR YOU, DON'T HATE ON THOSE WHOSE SCHOOLS ARE DOING IT FOR THEM. SOME SCHOOLS IN NIGERIA HAVE BEEN ORGANIZING PROM NIGHTS FOR OVER 20 YEARS! NO BE NEW THING! AND WHAT'S WITH IT 'NOT BEING OUR CULTURE'? ONLY IGNORANT FOOLS TALK LIKE THIS! AS IF YOU WOULDN'T GET ON THE NEXT FLIGHT OUT TO WHITE MAN'S LAND AND ADOPT ALL THEIR WAYS IF GIVEN THE CHANCE, JUST SO YOU CAN FEEL AMONG. SO NOW IT'S OKAY TO YAB OUR GOVERNMENT AND SAY THEY AIN'T DOING IT LIKE THE WHITES BUT WHEN IT'S PROM NIGHT, IT AIN'T OUR CULTURE??? ORDINARY PROM??? BITCH PLEASE! TAKE SEVERAL SEATS BACK ABEG! I NO BLAME UNA SHA. NA THE OLORIBUU COMMUNITY GRAMMAR SCHOOL WEY UNA GO CAUSE ALL THIS ONE. MTCHEW

    1. You, my idiotic friend, just wrote an epistle and said nothing. Maybe you should have started by looking up the word 'prom'...jacka**! Maybe a lot of the people asking these questions did not go to a nigerian secondary school and do not understand why someone that young is headed to a 'prom' years before graduating high school, you fat nasty b*tch!
