Photos: Barack & Michelle Obama attend their daughter Malia's High School Graduation

President of the United States Barack Obama & his wife, Michelle attended and watched their eldest daughter, 17-year-old Malia Obama, graduate from Sidwell Friends School in Northwest Washington, D.C

According to Washington Post, the president was earlier asked to speak at the commencement ceremony, but he politely declined the offer, hoping to just blend into the crowd and enjoy the ceremony. And that's exactly what he did, taking a seat with the other family members of the private school graduates and watching the entire ceremony, before going on to hug her. The media was however barred from attending.

  8. If it were Nigerian politician, their children would no where be found near Nigeria to talk of Nigerian school in same state. They would also take offence that they were not recognised. Oh God, help Nigeria our Nation.

  11. Humility at its peak. But here in Naija, even an ordinary local government chairman will want a special seat and maximum attention.
