Nigerians will beg APC in 2019 to continue - APC chieftain Tony Momoh says

Former Minister of Information and a chieftain of APC, Prince Tony Momoh, says Nigerians will beg APC to continue in power in 2019. Momoh said this in a recent interview with The Sun. He acknowledged that many Nigerians are suffering but says that within a year or two years from now, the party will be celebrated

"I said within a year or two, you will celebrate us. Infact by 2019, they will be begging us to continue in power. If by 2019, we have thousands of people who are empowered because of the economic programme we have, you think those who are empowered will not vote for us? That’s why I’m saying we have to attend to certain things. They are painful. But we plead for patience. Within a year or two, Nigerians will be celebrating Buhari."he said

    7. It is God that is punishing Nigeria with the current hardship. Nigerians serve idols, cultism, ritual, corruption, kidnapping etc. God is not happy. So repent from your sins. A word is enough for the wise.

  7. The reason why I'm not quick to give up hope on this administration just yet is because of the long term benefits I see accruing if this govt is to pursue it's agenda diligently. At the moment, things are hard in this country, and the easiest thing that comes to mind is to "give up hope".I haven't reached that stage yet. Right now I'm observing and hoping that this administration succeeds. If the president fails, the country fails too.The best option is to support the Govt and see if they have the wherewithal to effect real change in the country. Complaining won't change anything, but resilience and hope can prevent one from having hypertension

  65. its so unfortunate that this is what we see and hear in Nigeria.

if this man called momoh, had children who are hungry, his wife walked home to break news, she was just sacked from work, and landlord is seeking his rent, will he come out to say this disrespectful thing to Nigerians?

i have said it before,we people of Nigeria we are our problem, if we have stepped up and held our leaders accountable we wont have such person making such insensitive statement in this challenging times.

its a pity...though...we Nigerians sold ourselves that pdp,apc have tossed us around like a ball. now are they feeling the economic brunch? NO....
