    1. Reno you are making absolutely NO SENSE. Let me ask you this, if Nigeria was indeed a bank and you were an outsider and the CEO had never said a word. Going by what u already know about the bank...would you deposit your money there? Would you deposit your money into Nigeria as a bank? Answer that question and stop constantly showing how absolutely ignorant and unintelligent you are sir!

    2. Hmm....on the contrary el Stupido....the reason you have so many investors is your corrupt reputation. People around the world are fully aware that Nigeria is a corrupt nation. So stop fooling yourselves. You have a senator who is wanted for drug offenses in the United States and a petroleum minister who is being held for stealing over £13billion and an NSA director who shared money meant to battle a terrorist organization into personal accounts and you are worried that the president says we are a corrupt nation? Ok make UNA no vex. We are not corrupt. The president was talking rubbish. The world wasn't already aware that we are monkeys

What you don't know Reno is that unlike y'all that will be calling a spade a spoon just to deceive and gain false praises, while in your hearts you know it's a lie, it is better to tell the world as it is and be respected for it.... that my friend connotes a sense of integrity and responsibility.

    5. So, in ur mind u think that's how world politics is played eh?...would u go invest in a country whose' leader repeatedly tell u is full of thieves?...Of all the countries there which of them brought their dirty linens to wash there?...so when he says this they'll come help him clean up abi?...supporting an illiterate & clueless president

    6. Very dumb comment. Respect to for who? The respect goes to Buhari for being 'honest' but Nigeria gets disrespect. Nobody respects any nation that is very corrupt. What that kind of vice does is to make people run from you. Nobody wants to invest in a corrupt society. Everything that the president does outside of Nigeria these days is for his own personal aggrandizement. He wants to reinforce the toga of incorruptibility that he uses to deceive people. I have seen other heads of government taking umbrage if anybody dares to associate their countries with corruption. But what does Buhari do? He goes about celebrating it as if Nigeria won Olympic medals. Whoever came up with the phrase that one does not wash his dirty linen in public may have had Buhari in mind when couching it.

-D great anonymous now as Vivian Reginalds

  22. Because your bother employed the thieves and allowed them have a field day with their loot,,can you please allow Buhari to sanitize the system and leave him alone to work.,,since you are now jobless!

  23. Well said Reno. A clueless President. GEJ was bad. This President has publicly destroyed our international reputation. Nigerians wake up. Stop partisan politics and see the destruction and misery this man brings. You do not wash your dirty linen in public.

    ReplyDelete
  24. So if you were that CEO what would you rather do? Live in denial that there are no thieves in your bank? or starve of much needed investments? what would you do?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No1 is asking you to be in denial...but do you have to run around shouting it to who ever cares to listen. Some sycophants tho. How about calmly taking care of the thieves and letting the audience see for themselves how your bank has improved.

  25. Nothing wrong with been honest.

  26. I'm afraid i have to agree.Buhari needs help in answering questions from international press. Transparency International currently ranks Nigeria as the 32nd most corrupt country in the world today. However if going by the impression Buhari gives abroad anybody anywhere in the world would most likely assume we are the most corrupt.Agreed he should not deny that Nigeria is corrupt, however he should learn to be more tactful. No leader in the world not even of the 31 more corrupt countries in the world would give a simple "yes" answer to such an obviously demeaning question whether it is thru or not.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Simple! We have a large population. Much larger than Britain and the population of most countries in the world. The fact is that people will get to hear fraudulent acts done by some of us more frequently cos of our population. But it doesn't mean we dnt have good people slogging it out there in honest ways. Buhari makes it look like we are a can of corrupt worms..and he never mentions the good things nigerians are doing abroad too. Once can be called an oversight, but him saying this twice is madness.

  29. RENO SHOULD FOCUS ON GETTING GEJ MORE AWARDS IN THE STATES...BUHARI MET A TERRIBLY CORRUPT NIGERIA...AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT. IF HE SAYS NIGERIA IS NOT CORRUPT THEN NOBODY WOULD TRUST HIM JUST THE WAY NO ONE TRUSTED JONATHAN BECAUSE HE COVERED UP CORRUPTION EVEN WHEN IT WAS OBVIOUS WITH CLEAR RECORDS AND EVEN BROUGHT TO HIS NOTICE. UNDER JONATHANS ADMINISTRATION THERE WERE SO MANY UNTOUCHABLES WHO FLAUNTED THEIR CORRUPT PRACTICES SUCH AS THE NNPC BOSS...TOMPOLO AMONGST OTHERS. THIS DIMINISHED THE TRUST THAT OTHER COUNTRIES WITH LAWS AND PROPER PROCESSES HAD TO DEAL WITH NIGERIA. AGREEING THAT NIGERIA IS CORRUPT WAS IMMEDIATELY THE RIGHT THING TO DO....TRUST ME THESE GUYS HAVE MORE FACTS AND FIGURES THAN YOU THINK THEY DO. FROM DATA ON ILLEGAL MONEY TRANSFERS TO DETAILS OF FRAUDULENT OIL SALES...SO HE DID RIGHT BY ACCEPTING THAT NIGERIA WAS CORRUPT THEN STATING HIS ANTI-CORRUPTION PLANS. PLEASE DON'T TAKE US BACK TO THE JONATHAN ERA WHERE CORRUPTION WAS PUBLICLY CELEBRATED AND WINKED AT AND COVERED UP EVEN BY THE AUTHORITIES. AND THIS IS NOT ABOUT APC OR POP.

  30. Some truth in between the line.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Linda that analogy is faulty! It's wrong because in this CEO's case (Buhari), the "thieves" he is referring to have been relieved of their duties and are being prosecuted. The "thieves" he alludes to are no longer working with the Bank. They've been sacked! So his audience will not be worried about those "thieves" because the thieves are no longer part of management.

So this is no Tweet of the day.

  46. This is most foolish tweet of the month. This man must have graduated from Saraki school of banking. Why as a CEO would you employ thieves and men and women of no integrity to run your bank? You owe the public that responsibility to make them know the crooks. Tha's why banks run disclaimer on defaulting staff members. Leave our president alone and return your loot.

    ReplyDelete
  47. His and Linda's thought! Kudos to Mr. President on the matter. Linda will never see anything good from PMB just as she does not see anything newsworthy in the world celebrating wizard for sometime now.

  50. Sycophants are blind to the import of Buhari's statement.
Cameron did not say SOME Nigerians are fantastically corrupt.
His statement implies that ALL NIGERIANS ARE CORRUPT... and our president agreed!!!
    It is that simple.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Only a fool will think that at this point it even matters what he said during that interview, and if you've been out of the country you'll know exactly what I mean. Nigeria already has a bad reputation that is well known worldwide and it will take a lot more than an interview to set it straight.
What you wanted him to do was lie to the world. That's fraud! Thats corruption!
