Photos: Four FUTA students die in fatal accident

Four undergraduate students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Ondo state who were traveling to Ibadan, Oyo state for a religious programme, lost their lives in a fatal car crash at Ibule village along Ilesa-Akure express road today May 21st.

Confirming the incident, the Pubic Relations Officer for the Ondo state Police Command, Femi Joseph said the cause of the accident was largely due to over-speeding. He said the accident involved a Toyota hiace bus and a motorcycle.

The bodies of the students have been deposited at the morgue while others who sustained injuries are currently at different hospitals receiving medical attention.
