Buhari signs the 2016 budget

President Buhari this morning signed the 2016 budget. He received a clean copy of the budget from the National Assembly yesterday May 5th. Buhari signed the budget in the presence of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, and the chairmen of the National Assembly appropriation committees.

  11. Nawa oo, let's hope this leads to something much better. Personally, I'm giving this government a grace of two years before I start losing trust in it. Rebuilding actually does take time but after two years, if we don't see any "CHANGE",then we are the clowns in this show.

  24. God bless you for starting a major change by rejecting the traditional padding by the senate that has been the norm over years. Imagine 500billion naira padding that is equivalent to 5 times my state annual budget. If not for this man coming to power when you are needed most with our source of rebvenue dropped by 70%, else Nigerians would have started eating from trash bins. God bless you PMB.
