U.S.-led coalition blows up $500 million in Islamic State cash and cuts its oil revenues

The U.S.-led coalition air campaign blew up about $500 million of the Islamic State’s cash and cut its oil revenues by about 50%, according to a senior US defense official.
An ISIS source who asked not to be named says The Islamic State has been forced to ration fuel in some areas and cut its fighters and government officials pay in regions it controls by half.

U.S. officials have said the air campaign combined with local ground forces in Iraq and Syria have dealt the Islamic State setbacks in recent months, saying the terror group has lost 40% of the territory it once controlled in Iraq. “We've got the momentum,” Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said.

The official added that the Islamic State is struggling to replace its fighters who are now being killed at a rate of 1,500 to 2,000 a month.

    This is a fat lie... I agree to the u.s bombing there cash stock pile but cutting there oil revenue? That's just a fat lie.. Russia did 90% of the work in cutting there oil revenue. Russia aerospace defense force blew the pipelines and hundreds of trucks used by Isis to move fuel from Syria to turkey... All the u.s and its coalition did was keep mute. We all knew the u.s once tried to lay claim to a Russia bombing video that showed Isis oil tankers been bombed and destroyed and they where exposed... What did the u.s and its coalition do when it was exposed by the Russians, Syrian forces, Iranians and even the Kurds that Isis sell oil to the Turkish government? This was even backed up by document seized from Isis showing they traded oil with the Turkish government. They did nothing. The u.s shouldn't take all the glory. I believe the Russians did more in denting Isis in Syria in 6months than the u.s and its coalition of 60+ countries did in 3years.
