  14. This is too poor low standard of cleaning the airport management(federal airport authority) should not wave it aside the supervisor and the manager of the cleaning company should be queried because this is international disgrace this is one of the reasons Nigeria airport are getting low ranking

  19. Too bad and an eye sore. Federal Authority for that matter. Tufiakwa! People dont even mop floors in their homes with lags this days let alone in Air Port. The Management should be held responsible for this. This is dividends of embezzlement. #Lilytop.com

    ReplyDelete
  22. And they will blame it on buhari's government. How expensive is it to purchase mops, that they can't afford to get one?? This is an eyesore for an organization or this standard, and am very sure the manager must have been seeing this go on for God knows how long now. If dem sack am now, him go say their village ppl don start.

  29. A stick mop doesnt cut it at all #Linda. Steam or industrial mop on account of the size of the place / Loaction / efficiency. They are just punishing those workers and not giving them the most efficient tools for the job. "Health and Safety Risk Thingz".

  33. "This "is was" spotted at Akanu Ibiam Airport in Enugu". Linda I guess if a celebrity or a politician wrote your first sentence, it would become a headline news. Don't you proof-read or edit after writing before publishing? English by radio for better oh......hehehehehehehahahahahahahohohohohohoh. However, what does it matter if they hand clean the airport floors with their bare hands. The most important thing is that the floor is clean. I wonder what you'll say if the floor is dirty and stinking? You probably say, why can't they clean it even if it requires them using their bare hands!!! Hmmm, we get problem for Nigeria.

  34. Locally made mops would not cut it #Linda. Industrial or steam mops period. Especially for a Public place like an airport with the floor type and size."Would anyone take a pen knife to a gunfight?" They are just punishing those workers "Health and safety risk things".Wont be suprised if they are mopping up water from a leak somewhere. Naija Na Wa.

  39. This one is a small issue. Non of the Air condition's are working in Enugu Airport. People queue up with their hand fans while buying tickets. THE AIRPORT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MANAGER is busy diverting funds meant for airport maintenance. I was almost dehydrated the last time I travelled via Enugu. It's so terrible that our people are busy filling their pockets with public funds and yet won't get the job done. So terrible.

It could be that the management has 'cornered' the money for that purpose and written it off under miscellaneous expenses.
