Photos: Late Nasir Zarummai in a selfie with daughter, more funeral photos

Malam Nasir Zarummai passed away yesterday after a brief illness and has been buried according to Islamic rites. Until his death, he was the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Sokoto state and an integral part of the cabinet of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. He was married with children.
Hon. Zarummai was born in Sokoto in Sokoto North Local Government Area of Sokoto State on 4th April 1973. He attended the Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto and graduated with Bachelors Degree Computer Science in 1998.
He was the IT administrator in the University from 2000 – 2005. State Technical Coordinator ID Card project 2003 – 2004, United Nations System (WHO, IT Assistant) in Nigeria 2005 – 2007. Special Adviser on ICT to Sokoto State Governor (2007 – 2013).
He was also Commissioner Federal Character Commission and then subsequently, was appointed as the Hon. Commissioner Science and Technology by Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
