Photos: Young girl gives her mother strong reasons why she wants her hair chopped

Zuena from Uganda shared these before and after photos of her daughter, Beata. She is beautiful with or without the hair and she gave pretty strong reasons for wanting her hair chopped.

"My princess has been begging me to cut off her hair for the last 4 days,i told her to call her dad & grandmother thinking that they'll both refuse & that topic will be closed, they instead threw the ball back at me & told her as long as am ok with it. I told her to give me strong reasons to support her decision & this is what she had to say:
1.Her scalp always hurts when she's being plaited.
2.She's always swimming
3.Mbu she wants to save time lol.
So i braced myself & made the tough decision to finally cut it off. Ladies & gentlemen i present to you princess Beata"

    1. I don't get why this is news, she isn't the first kid to be on low cut..Maybe when i shave my beards I'll tell the whole world. Sincerely speaking, this isn't news worthy.

    2. It's really not cool subjecting children to dis pain all in d name of beautification. Dey say a woman is structured to endure pain but she has to grow into it.
I for one rocked my lowcuts throughout my high sch days till I droped my pen. I still wish to go back to dat state.

    4. She even looks more beautiful on low cut. Pls she is still a child and she needs to focus on her studies. After her studies, she can start making her hair. The secondary school i attended never allowed us to make our hair. We were all on low cut because they said making hair was a distraction. Also, some students' hair always looked upkept and untidy. So we had low cut until we finally finished our WAEC exams. Abeg let the young girl be joor.
