Photos: Woman beaten by husband after another man was tagged with their baby's Facebook photo

A Malaysian woman was reportedly beaten by her husband because a photo of their baby was tagged with a stranger's name on Facebook. In a Facebook post, Stella Ooi from Penang, wrote that her child's photo was tagged with the name "SH Dato Lee", but she did not know this person.

"Anyone can tag photos posted on Facebook!" she wrote. "Because of this I was beaten by my husband."

Her husband claimed that she had a relationship with "SH Dato Lee".

She added that she had two cracks in her skull and was deaf in her right ear. Photos on Facebook showed bruises on her face, arms and thigh.

In later posts, she said that she had reported the abuse to the police and was no longer with her husband. On February 4, she posted that her injuries had largely healed and she could finally go out.

  9. Real men do not lift a finger to a woman . For those men who beat women, how will you feel if your mother is beaten by your father or step father or your sister by her boy friend ? NOT COOL at all, walk away if she makes you mad , that will make you a bigger person.

  31. Until women learn how to save their precious lives and know to see men generally as beasts who do NOT bash themselves for anything but abuse women for everything, then women have a very long way to go still. DUMB*

  40. I have read a lot of bs here. Whatever happened to the maxim: If you are married, stay married? This is what goes down when you think you can eat your egg & have it. A spouse invests in his partner, emotionally & otherwise, hoping to have a life with him/her. When that hope is yanked away suddenly & smashed to smitherens by one party, shit gets real. My advise: don't get married if you really don't give a tuppence for the institution of marriage.

  45. The suspicion did not start that day she was beaten. You know a child will be forgiven when he/she pour away a gallon of palm oil but will be dealt with when he/she pour a cup of water. But there are better ways of handling cheating issue like this without being a beater. Bros, maturity and patience is the key.
