Photos: 19-year-old Chelsea prospect, Ola Aina donates all his old football boots and kits to teams in Nigeria

Southwark-born Chelsea prospect Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina has earned the respect of many because he donated all his old boots and kits to less fortunate teams in Nigeria. Writing on Instagram, Aina, "All my old boots, balls and kits being shipped off to the motherland (Lagos Nigeria) this morning to the less fortunate #giveback #2nddrop #nigeria"

"All to "leke" Lagos Nigeria" he wrote on twitter with more photos of his donations.

Sponsored by sportswear giants Adidas, Aina was able to send a large quantity of boots he has acquired over his young promising career. The 19-year-old defender is yet to make a senior appearance for Chelsea but he's hotly tipped to follow Ruben Loftus-Cheek into the first-team set up after winning the U21 Premier League, FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League with the Blues.

The youngster came to the attention of football fans less than a month ago when he rifled in a stunning strike from his own half in an U21 game against Spurs.

Aina signed a first-year professional contract in October 2013 commiting him to the club until the end of the 2015/16 season.

  46. Pardon my french but he must be very silly. Why can't he give them new boots? Maybe he was looking for where to dump his waste. Even motherless babies homes in lagos no longer accept old worn out clothes! And to think he had the effrontery to publicize it ! Rubbish
