Photo: Monitor lizard eats up deadly tiger snake after engaging in combat

A tiger snake strong enough to kill an adult human with just a single bite was photographed disappearing down the throat of a southern heath monitor lizard after a combat between the animals. The lizard didn't seem affected by the deadly poison that could be in the snake. Monitor lizards don't usually feed on snakes but it seems this one was very hungry and couldn't resist the meal that presented itself.

  5. Well, a monitor lizard is like a medium size Alligator, so the snake sure didn't stand a chance in a battle with it.
