Graphic: PHCN staff electrocuted while working on an electric pole in Lagos

A PHCN staff was electrocuted at Kogberegbe Street, Isolo Lagos today. He was electrocuted while he was trying to fix the light. As of 2pm when I received these photos from a witness, the man was still up there. See them after the cut...

  36. It's sooo crazy. I witnessed this happen today. It was two that was electrocuted not 1. The other went up trying to save this one in the picture and got electrocuted as well. I called the 112 emergency number severally. They kept saying help is on the way and it never arrived. This guy in this picture was still alive for over 30 mins but there was no help and everyone was afraid to go up again after witnessing what had happened to the other guy that tried to help him. When help eventually came.. ir was too late. I sympathise with his family and hope that the concerned parties would investigate the matter to avoid such happening again
