"Look at the position of the Naira today. Some of us have ideas on how we can restore this. Do you know how many Bureau De Change people who food has been taken out of their families because of this?
If you say they are the ones causing it, then where are you today? It needs strategic management. It won’t take me one month, if you give me part of that consultancy, Naira would come back to 200. I can bet my life with it. Naira would come back to N200. If you call me for that consultancy, I would put Naira back to 200”he said

ReplyDeleteThis illiterate please retire to your hole your company has been acquired for non performance by AMCON and to make issues worse for you, me and you know your business as a petroleum products importer is finished the moment Dangote's refinery starts running because your so called ability to pump out 55million litres of petroleum products a day will only become useful when Nigeria starts exporting petroleum products. The strength of the naira will only ever be determined by how the amount of dollars available to satisfy the demand for dollars.
ReplyDeleteIfeanyi ubah is making a lot of sense here. Dollar was jx 245 and it skyrocketed to 400 in jx one month after emefiele clampdown on bdc's. He needs to heed to sanusi's advice on how to run this economy
ReplyDeleteDear Dr Ifeanyi, channel your wisdom to the development of Anambra State. The last time you contested for governorship position, you provided free transport and kero etc. Since you lost that election, I ve not heard of ur benevolence.

ReplyDeleteLooking for political appointments??

ReplyDeleteCome and do it for your country na. There's what we call service to humanity. This President wants to kill us abeg.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think the government should hear him out, man is an island. But wait, instead of the government to listen to his ideas, they will send EFCC after him and level out allegations against him.

ReplyDeleteThank you Ifeanñyi,but at what cost to Nigerians? Or won't you as for a pound of flesh as consultancy fee?
ReplyDeleteSay What? Call you for that consultancy?
ReplyDeleteAnd your goal is to bring a dollar back to 200 Naira and keep the flame of suspense burning?
Like seriously, I respect you wella Sir, but I wish you should just concentrate on your football club and make it the best Africa has to offer if you do not have a goal or plan to bring it down to as slow as 10 Naira to a Dollar! No am not dreaming.
We believe you our great philanthropic son, father and mentor. You've transformed the lives of so many people I know personally! I solely believe if given the requested opportunity, you will salvage the dwindling fate of Naira! More grease to your elbows
ReplyDeleteAbeg drop your number... I'll give it to Buhari
ReplyDeleteOk na...
ReplyDeleteWat d hell is Ubah saying why 200 wen yaradua was alive it was 150 naira so he should not say 200naira
ReplyDeletePromises upon promises. When he gets there, he'll look for someone to blame.
ReplyDeleteOk

ReplyDeleteMan wey sabi
ReplyDeleteThen do it please.
ReplyDeleteOKORO UPGRADED
This is what you see most often when you have a clueless president who came into power because power must come from a certain geographical area. What a challenge? What a shame?
ReplyDeleteWatched the interview live. It was very interesting. I use belittle Ifeanyi Uba but yesterday, I removed head dress for him. #Highlymisunderstood #sometimescontroversial.
ReplyDeleteTrus you bro, it is called economic intelligence not political intelligence but unfortunately, they will not consult you out of pride and shame besides you are an Igbo man.
ReplyDeleteUbah have u paid Cosmos Maduka his money? Have u recovered from Jonathan's election? Trade ur capital oil with 200 to a dollar.......Okoro
ReplyDeleteNigerians lets give him a chance. i see him as a patriotic Nigerian that want to help , so why not give him a chance. we should even combed him for coming out and offering him self to help. God bless you Ifeanyi Uba.
ReplyDeletegive him a chance, this is not about party its about country.
ReplyDeletewhat else do you guys want he has said he is betting his life on it. pls lets give him a chance to revive this country. let but pride aside and let the man who can do the job go ahead and get the job done. we are in a big mess and will be in a bigger mess soon so the earlier the better.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have no comments, Linda. One old man in my town said, let the dove carry what it carries and let the market no buy am for am..when asked to explain in Ibo language he again said... "Ovu vuru ihe ovu, ahia azurulaya". You see, we have got the Bismark Rewane's, The Pat Utomi's and other sharp minds who are taking their explanations topically because, Nigeria was just caught in a jamm over a global matter rocking many nations as it were. Nigeria's crime is simple, we had not adequately prepared a strong baseline economic structure that hitherto addressed a simple export and import trade balancing. We deeply ran Trade in-balance (import driven receipts) and always looking at Government USD oil earnings to shore up the yearly incremental deficits. Until this is structurally and technically addressed we will continue to experience systemic imbalance (no inflow receipts)that can lead to a total failure. Let no man, proffer no magic or some palliative of sort (temporary relief), the answer will lie on mass economic mobilization and targeted empowerment. it will not entirely be guaranteed with devaluation or no devaluation argument, the real answer requires very direct approach and not rhetoric's, how can we reverse the systemic trade imbalance/deficits since oil dollars that had shielded us is falling globally. The solution can never be in the hands of a one month consultant-magician.
ReplyDeleteOkey Okoro
WORD!!
Deletewhat else do you guys want he has said he is betting his life on it. pls lets give him a chance to revive this country. let but pride aside and let the man who can do the job go ahead and get the job done. we are in a big mess and will be in a bigger mess soon so the earlier the better.
ReplyDeletetypical igbo man ......selling his goods, he doesnt even need to pay for publicity...loL #WORDSOFTHEIGBOMAN#
ReplyDeleteMy bros Ifeanyi who was the sole importer of kerosene, with our own money, for his own pocket, selling at any price he wanted, and yet still owing AMCOM so much is talking about bringing Naira back to N200/$. Please tell him that he was part of the people that put us in this problem. Where did he get the money that he used to buy the wrappers he was throwing to the crowd from a moving trailer along Ikorodu road during the last campaign, or the dollars that were shared to students, musicians, youth, artistes, comedians and all during the last campaign.
ReplyDeleteBefore all of you commentators forget how we got to this sorry state, Ifeanyi was a big part of those who not only squandered our income, they wasted what had been saved and, even mortgaged the meager income that would have come in the future all in a bid to win or buy a second term. If he was such an astute economist, he would have done something with what he got from that kerosene importation. But as God does not sleep, and is the case with every proceed of evil, the devil dug a deep hole in his pockets so the ill-gotten money all leaked out. He is now looking for Consultancy!
Well, this is not the regime of "anything goes" so my brother Ify, wait for your day at the courts, to account for the subsidies you claimed for the importation of kerosene.
Tribe, religion, ethnicity and short memory have blinded us in this country such that people who should be hiding their heads in shame are coming out to insult our intelligence!
"You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time"
Ka Chineke mezie Okwu a.
Please this illiterate should go and learn simple economics. It is the law of supply and demand that is keeping the naira down. Too much demand against too much supply. Andy could release his much hoarded dollars and hidden fuel into the economy and blackmail his co conspirators to do the same. It may help a bit. failing that please improve the standard of Aba made and patronise made in Nigeria
ReplyDeleteVery mouthed man
ReplyDeleteUbah have u paid Cosmos Maduka his money? Have u recovered from Jonathan's election? Trade ur capital oil with 200 to a dollar.......wen u do Nigeria will need ur help
