Borno state Governor, Kashim Shettima today, Friday February 12, received 275 screened suspected Boko Haram members from the Nigeria Army. The suspects were cleared and found not guilty of terrorism.
The Governor promised to provide vocational training for the men and women in order to make them self employed. He also offered free education to their children. Shettima also acknowledged the efforts of the security agents and assured total support to end the dreaded Boko Haram terror group.

  24. Hi Linda Ikeji and all. Please what is the Lagos State Govt. Doing about LASU Anthony Campus not releasing past students since last year who were made to do a 5 year course in 7 years. Now for the fourth time we have to retake exams of no less than 5 papers which we've don't in the past cos the school we pay exorbitant fees in comparison to full time students cannot be bothered to be responsible and carry out their duties professionally by marking scripts and producing results at the right time. Our mates in other universities who started degree courses at the same time as we did completed their degree programmes in 2013 and have moved on to complete their Masters since 2014 while in 2016 LASU satellite campuses are calling us back to rewrite papers they refused to mark... what a horrible system. It's appalling that this is happening in a place called the centre of excellence!
