Tompolo distances self from militants who blew oil installations in Delta today

Former Niger Delta warlord, Government Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo, has distanced himself from the attack on oil installations by yet to be identified militants in some parts of Delta state in the early hours of today January 15th. In an interview with The Nation, Tompolo who spoke through his spokesperson, Paul Bebenimibo, said;

“I am not responsible for the attack and I condemn it as a dastardly act. I am aware that some persons might want to destroy oil installations and link it with me that was why I said before time that I have nothing to do with it. I could not have gone ahead to carry out such action knowing that every finger will be pointed at me because of my case with the Federal Government,” he said

  50. What is so embarrassing about it? How long shall we continue to behave like animals and be fighting? Must any little thing resort to violence? Something that you can easily dialogue and resolve. They only asked him to come and let us know about the money he got from Dasuki. That's all. Why should they destroy the oil refinery because of that? Is it the oil refinery that asked him to come and defend himself? What they did affects all Nigerians not just Buhari. It even affects the masses more and the economy. Unruly Nigerians!
