Business Eye Magazine looks into the 2016 Nigerian economy

Business Eye Magazine, the business lifestyle magazine published by Shophar Nigeria Limited, hosted a roundtable discussion on the 14th of January 2016 at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi.
The theme of the day was “Nigerian Economy 2016: Charting the Way Forward” and it was packed with political and economic analyses, prescriptions and prognostications for the year 2016.

Panelists at the roundtable were Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Federal Minister of Transport; Dr. Abiodun Akinkunmi, Lagos State Commissioner of Finance; Ibim Semenitari, Acting Managing Director of NDDC; and Bismarck Rewane, CEO of Financial Derivatives Company with Kayode Akintemi, General Manager (Operations) of Channels Television serving as the moderator.
There was a frank and engaging exchange of ideas among the panelists with telling input from audience members including Opeyemi Agbaje, CEO of RTC Advisory Services and Foluso Phillips, CEO of Phillips Consulting amongst many others.

Also in attendance were Pascal Dozie, Founder of Diamond Bank; Henry Semenitari, former MD of Unity Bank; and Tunji Olugbodi, Executive Vice Chairman of Verdant Zeal Group.

The event also served as the 8th anniversary of Business Eye Magazine and the launch of the January issue of the magazine which looks at 2016 in advance.
