British-Nigerian singer Patti Boulaye receives OBE from British palace (photos)

British/Nigerian singer, Patti Boulaye received an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of The British Empire, OBE, Investiture from HRH Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace yesterday January 29th. She was joined by her husband Stephen, their son and daughter. Continue to see more photos...

  18. The award is inconsequential and irrelevant to the welfare of the average Nigerian. This is an individual achievement and does not merit the hype it has received. Patti Boulaye has no positive input into the development of Nigeria as a country. In other words in absolute denial of her birth right, hence the choice of her life partner. It is delusional to ascertain and use the appellate British-Nigerian, when her ethnicity is a hundred percent Nigerian. British citizenship attained by marriage.
