The Rock donates $1500 to save dog named after him

Dwayne' The Rock' Johnson is known for his love of animals and he demonstrated it once again as he stepped in to help a stricken dog. According to a gofundme site set up for the dog which is incidentally named Dwayne after the famous actor/wrestler, 'He was dumped at North Central Shelter with a large metal wire wrapped around the bottom portion of his mouth. It took bolt cutters for the shelter to remove it. Dwayne also has a grade 5 heart murmur. Grade 6 is considered the most severe.'



The site revealed the heart murmur would require surgery totaling almost $5000. The Rock got to know about the pup and has donated $1500 towards  its surgery, the funding target has been reached and the lucky pup will get treatment.

    Very lucky pup indeed! They love Rock has for dogs can never be hidden at all as it has apparently become reciprocative in nature. Just look at how the puppy in the last pics tends to be looking up to Dwayne in a very respectful, endearing and humanly manner. Chaii!
