Photos: Mother and daughter drown in a well in Enugu

The mother and daughter identified as Uche Nweze and Ukamaka from Ijo-ozalla in Igboetiti local Government Area of Enugu state, allegedly fell into a well on Wednesday Nov. 11, and drowned. According to a statement by Enugu State Police Command, the corpses were recovered and deposited at Zim Uzo Hospital Mortuary Igbo etiti for post mortem examination. Meanwhile, investigation has since been launched to find out the circumstances surrounding their death. Already, four suspects are helping the police in their investigations. The woman was backing her child when she fell inside the well...so sad! May their souls rest in peace, amen!

    Hmmmmmm....

    Many questions came to my mind after reading dis post one of which is, didn't she knw there is a well there and...

    There is sth fishing in dis story for am suspecting someone d dis to her and d baby.

  18. I dont believe this, from the way the well is built, the woman cannot just fall in just like that. Somebody must have pushed her in. This is not the first time she is drawing water from that well that she will be so careless. They should investigate properly
