A child was rescued by some residents of Iri-Akari in Lagos state after he was washed into a canal following the heavy downpour in the area this afternoon.

Can someone pls tell the LAGOS state government to come and work on the Yaba, Ojelegba Canal every time it rains a little the whole area floods like it rained for weeks...
