105 soldiers reported missing after fight with Boko Haram?

No fewer than 105 soldiers are said to have gone missing after a gun battle with Boko haram sect members at Gudunbali, Borno State, on Wednesday November 18th. According to a report by Premium Times, the soldiers went missing after a fight with the insurgents who tried to capture the community early yesterday morning.


A T-72 tank as well as several artillery weapons from the unit were reportedly carted away by the sect members.

“Gudunbali was attacked this morning and some weapons were captured from the battalion. Two officers and 105 soldiers are still missing. They captured a T-72 tank from the unit and some artillery weapons were also captured. The commanding Officer (CO) of the battalion is yet to be seen but no one has been confirmed dead yet,” a source told PT.
The source also added that the sect members carted away a truck loaded with 60,000 rounds of AA ammunition and three artillery pieces. Spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, Sani Usman as well as the spokesperson of the Army’s 7 Division, Tukur Gusau, both declined to comment on the matter, saying that the commander of the division would hold a press conference on the matter today November 19th.

    Hmm! I. Recommend that few men and women of God, filled with the spirit should always accompany them. Before they move in, special prayers should be held and their weapons should be blessed. Also, those who are Christians should go with a crucifix.

    Really, Boko haram is beyond the physical. The Nigerian government and the military should wake up to this reality. I have been advising that the federal government should declare three days of prayer to be led by Mbaka and pastor Adeboye. It should be conducted simultaneously. While Mbaka is in the East, Adeboye should be in the West and as for the North, any reputable and courageous Imam should mobilise the people for prayers.

    This December is going to witness the highest level and style of terrorist attacks. Friends, we must pray more and accompany our prayer with abstinence. Please, please! This weekend even looks bloody. I weep now because I see a new madness towards innocent lives. I see a raging attack. Lord, save your people!

    Please, wherever you are, prayer is one key I have found to be very useful so let us pray, until peace happens.

    We do not fight insurgency with body language. Its easy to criticize from outside, the reality is here and not propaganda, the time for propaganda is over. The world powers have been promising to assist us, I do not know how much they have done that. We are losing on daily basis both human and material resources to BH. Some people thought is was all about GEJ and we called him all kinds of name. We need to give PMB a better name now. Pastor Bakare said he is not clueless but helpless. I do not know if I agree or not, but time to take a single decision is of the essence. Baba go slow is an understatement. May God help us. Everything is suffering, the economy, the citizens, the polity, even the sovereignty of the nation is under threat.

    This is terrible! Few days to Dec 2015 set target to flush out BH, 105 trained & equipped soldiers missing at d point of action. Where are they? On away without leave (AWOL). Why won't they be on AWOL when all those found guilty of similar offence by d GEJ admin were all pardoned & reabsorbed by PMB all in d name of dirty politics. It is unfortunate. Do I hear someone saying PMB 'Bring Back Our Soldiers'!

    This explains the level of conspiracy surrounding emergence of BH in Nigeria, it is highly unfathomable that 105 trained soldiers ( Nigerians army: best in land force) with sensible amount of arms and ammunition were subdued and kidnapped by BH.

    And my questions are:

    1. How many are these BH?
    2. With the amount of ammunition and personnel involved , Cant those soldiers defend themselves or rather fight to death as they were trained?
    3. Are the Nigerian army compromised as stipulated by USA Govt?

    With some many unanswered and uncleared questions, I have come up with an answers, and it is quite that unfortunate:

    1.OUR SO CALLED PRESIDENT, PMB is the CORE sponsor of Boko-Haram in Nigeria, And Nigerians will realize this very late.
    2. Our Pride ( Nigerian Army) is compromised.
    3. APC as a political party is being played by the Northern chieftains, As Yoruba don't pay attention to details.
    4. All plans are set to islamize Nigeria, and all Northern chieftains are aware of that including Atiku,Gowon, Babangida etc.
    5.As all these horrendous events unfolds rapidly, Nigeria will disintegrate, as the Igbos ( Biafrians) are uniting and finding a common ground to fight Nigeria.

    Lastly, Only prayers will halt these horrendous events unfolding in our dear Republic;Thus prayers is imperative.

    10 days to go for bokohari to flush boko haram out of Nigeria God is his strength. Most Nigerians are blind with Boharifobia. Nothing good comes from GEJ but bokohari is their god. I pray they are alive to see what he gonna do in d forty one more months left. Oby Okwesirieze better rename d campaign u used against GEJ to #bringbackourgirls&soldiers#
