Spokesperson of the Nigeria Football Federation Ademola Olajire says the football governing body has no plans to persuade goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama to return the Super Eagles. Olajire was quoted by NAN yesterday as saying;
"We heard about his quitting the national team on his Instagram page. If somebody says he is retiring from the national team, what are we going to do, to beg him? We don’t know if he is leaving the national team because of his quarrel with the coach. He just wrote on his Intagram page that he was leaving the national team. So, why should we be finding out whether he left because of the rift? The player has gone out of the camp, what do you want us to do. He has left the camp and he did not tell anybody that he was leaving." he said
Good! I like this statement

If that's how they want to handle the matter, no wahala.
ReplyDeleteofcourse we don't expect better response from you. Typical of Nigeria, never honour its own in life and in death. I wish the lad the best in his international career.
ReplyDeleteNa so jare.. y should they be begging him? What for??
ReplyDeleteYes ofcourse you can't beg him to return...He is one man and NFF is a national team trying to hold up their ego..but truth be told Oliseh has messed up by his poor managerial skills
ReplyDeleteWhy is the spokesman sounding as if he has an axe to grind with Enyeama??? Enyeama may be wrong to have quit on Instagram instead of serving the NFF notice but then the NFF have always been known for not treating the players right. This statement reeks of beef

ReplyDeleteUna better go beg am o! Linda take note!
ReplyDeleteNFF is very ungrateful and unappreciative. So that's all they have to say. Eyeama doesn't deserve this from a country he served so well. Quite sad.

ReplyDeleteUngrateful SOBs, if you have to grovel, you grovel!! Is it because he isn't an outfield player? I remember how the FA groveled for Okocha return! Y'all have to beg him, cos it would be devastating when we start to notice his absence!
ReplyDeleteIn life no body is indispenable and everytin dat has a beginning wil surely hav an end. Pls we should all b mindful of d consequence of indiscipline.

You don't need to sir. He's already made
ReplyDeleteDon't beg him, when you loose like 5 matches with a lousy goalkeeper, then u can beg him.
ReplyDeleteJust close your mouth if u don't have anything good to say, oldish mess up so u guys should call him to order.

ReplyDeleteGood riddance to bad rubbish! Good riddance to big ego!
ReplyDeleteBird of same feathers, you people should go and bring Eyiama back
ReplyDeleteNow I see that they are all against the innocent and hardworking goalie...
ReplyDeleteWho's dis tinz? See him face.....u will still hear am.
ReplyDeleteTruth be told, Enyeama would have tendered his resignation letter officially. Not by instagram.
ReplyDeleteWho's dis tinz? See him face.....u will still hear am.

LINDA POST MY COMMENT!!
@Ademola Olajire IT SHOWS THE LEVEL OF YOUR REASONING, THIS WHY THINGS NEVER WORK COS WE NEVER SHOW CONCERN ABOUT THE CHALLENGE OF WHAT SURROUND US UNTIL IT HAPPEN TO US.
ReplyDeleteSee elderly man talking like a fool..dats y nigeria football is goin down..av u tried knowing wat happened at camp...is dis how u pple go bout running nff..
ReplyDeleteWhat direction Nff? is that the way to show appreciation to Vincent after many years of service to father land. Common Nff!
ReplyDeleteU beta go nd beg him ooo, I don't think dia will be a perfect replacement 4 him in d national team bcos all dis big belle pple dat r playing politics wt our football won't let d talented ones 2 showcase dia talent. Shut ur mouth jare, go nd beg him nd also tell d coach 2 calm down.
ReplyDeleteThere are lot of sentiment in his speech, what is wrong in trying to confirm what actually went wrong and why he left camp. Even to sermon him and the coach to ask what the issue is .
ReplyDeleteOlajire is now saying if he want to quit he should quit.
Your own time is near that wil be treated like an animal in a place you are surppose to be celebrated. Onyeburu na turn by turn.
How many of you idiots where present at his mothers funeral? Or sent a representative? Shebi. U people have started reaping from yesterday's match. That's just d tip of d ice berg
ReplyDeleteOlajire , I just want you to note that Onyeburu na turn by turn. If the football association is not concerned about the welfare of the players then I d know the meaning and the purpose of the association .
ReplyDeleteBloody ingrates..

Mr Olajire is right on this.
ReplyDeleteFor me, Enyeama's decision to resign on instagram as a result of the rift was irrational.
◇◇◇◇◇◇ If ignorance is bliss, wipe the smile off my face ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇
NFF,IT IS YOU PEOPLE'S BLOODY PROBLEM YAH, U ALL GANG UP AGAINST THE GOAL KEEPER B'COS OF YOUR SELFISH INTEREST OKAY. NOBODY IS ASKING YOU TO BEG HIM AND I BELIEVE HE DOES NOT NEED THAT EITHER B'COS HE IS DOING WELL. IF NFF CAN NOT PUT THEIR HOUSE IN ORDER IT IS THEIR BLOODY BUSINESS.
ReplyDeleteBut this guy is still in mourning for crying out loud! Where is the love peepo? #smh#
ReplyDeleteNigeria has a long way to go. Respect towards other person's feelings is key. Vincent Enyeama has his reasons for resigning. We should always put ourselves in others people's shoes before judging. NFF is being insensitive.
ReplyDeleteOga Vin if this is how it happened, then you went about it the wrong way. You would have told the concerned officials at least for telling sake
ReplyDeleteIs not a good thing to say after many years of services to the country..they should still talk to him, after was if he still desire to leave then go good for him.
ReplyDelete*smh*...... so he should tell someone that he has been thrown out after being thrown out by security when he is not a criminal neither was he a camp crasher... IQ of these public officers holder should be tested!!!
ReplyDeleteNo need for that...he was the one that quit the team so good luck to him.
ReplyDeleteNFF my foot. They can go to hell.
ReplyDeleteGood.
ReplyDeleteEnyeama needs to take a lesson on humility
ReplyDeleteFoolish people...its very neccessary dat u appologise 2 him n solve dis problem!!
ReplyDeletePls chloe work all your life to your boss and on a day u question is judgement pls walk out and say he will come beg you #sorry state for you
DeleteLet's leave dis issues alrdy d guy has left it's all over let's all move on alrdy
ReplyDeleteVincent is a cry baby, that loves attention and that was why he chose the instagram to quit his career, u have failed ur nation vincent
ReplyDeleteso cos Vincent had a minor issue with the coach he now decides to abandon the country that made him who is ?
ReplyDeleteIs this NFF Spoke person or NURTW Spokesperson? Look at statement, like a Tout
ReplyDeleteHehehehe
DeleteConfirm!!!
ReplyDeleteProud and pompous arrogant idiot! Let me see who will mention HERO again!
ReplyDeleteHe exited like a coward! Even if you had a quarrel with the coach, why must you not even have the respect for your country to atleast make a formal resignation!
You have read comments on blogs that inflated your Ego anuofia!
Go and repeat this same nonsense in your club in France and let them dump you like bad habit, better go and ask Adebayor!
When Naija NFF play draft on your career, that foreign club will dump you like a fool that you are!
Stupid idoit...u just open ur month and keep vomiting any thing that come out of it..why dod Mikel refuse the band. .how come he appointed immediate replacement if he had never wanted Enyeama out of the team.think fool think..
DeleteGod save Nigeria from its problems.
ReplyDeleteI don't support Enyeama leaving the way he did, but for the fact that he did a good job as a goal keeper should be enough reason to find out why he left. Saying its not your business as the NFF body n representing Nigerian football is totally inappropriate. They should find out why Enyeama left! If its something that can be fixed, then fix it. If its not then it was nice having him on the team, at least you did your part by finding out. NFF is very irresponsible for the way they handled this. They're better ways to handle issues like this.
ReplyDeleteif you people will not miss him, then prepare to pack ur things out of that glass house bcos without him, Nigerian will not qualify, meaning that your job is on line

Because he had a rift with the nff this is the best reply they could come up with? Who wrote the speech? A high school drop out? What kind of trash is this. May thunder fire the butt cheeks of the idiot that gave this statement. Fools.
ReplyDeleteMy friend shut up. Is ur duty to know why he left.
ReplyDeleteWho asked u to beg him before!! Mtchewwwww
ReplyDeleteVincent is a proud fool, he thinks he has blown abi?
ReplyDeleteIT IS OBVIOUS THAT NFF IS THE KILLER OF NIGERIAN FOOT BALL. AND AS LONG AS THESE FOOLS WHO MAKE UP AFF STAND,BE SURE THAT THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF BAD OMEN IN NIGERIAN FOOT BALL ( ESPECIALLY IN SENIOR TEAM ) THIS WILL EVENTUALLY ESCALET TO OTHER ARMS OF SPORTS IN NIGERIA.
ReplyDeleteBunch of Thieves!!!
ReplyDeleteALL THESE HYPOCRITES THAT MAKE UP NFF ARE RUINING THIS NATIONS FOOT BALL.THERE IS NO TRUTE IN THEM.
ReplyDeleteVINCENT ENYEAMA HAS MORE HONOUR & RESPECT THAN MOST OF THESE MEN IN NFF.(PLEASE ASK THEM WHO STOLE OUR US$236,000,000 ) THAT WAS KEPT IN THEIR SAFE FEW YEARS AGO ? GOD IS WATCHING ALL OF YOU.
ReplyDeleteOliseh is a bigger fool... Why take a leadership position if u don't know how to behave. They should sack him now. Why can't Vincent talk? because u r a coach now no open can have opinions, suggestion or advice for the team? Oliseh is rude and arrogant and believe me hv not listen to Vincent's side of the story atall but from listening to Olisehs it shows he's a very proud idiot

ReplyDeleteThat is not how to talk na what did there mean by they won't beg him? They should better do if not I will do on their behalf cos I can't afford to loose him biko
ReplyDeleteThis man is a mum, he has agbamijori reasoning. See person Papa, talking rubbish.
ReplyDeleteWith statement like this I doubt if anyone one would be willing to let his sweat n blood flow for a country that won't appreciate you. Leaving cos of the rift or not a national hero deserves more than such annoying statement coming from a deranged mind of the writer of this NFF statement
ReplyDeletethe NFF under Pinick is and will be the worst. If no be say i be yoruba also the saying that yoruba men dont think b4 they talk may be true.
ReplyDeleteFrom your statement, it is obvious you have an axe to grind with Vincent. As it is functional in management line-reporting, Vincent reports to the Coach and wisdom demands that you would have seasoned your comments with salt. You also need a skill-sharpening session in Mind Management.
ReplyDeleteThis old man can't even make peace.......oliseh or what ever his name is so proud and he has lost the sense of judgemental. ....cause he is a coach we should run.and his proud to say it.shm!

ReplyDeleteListening to olisehs side of the story tells me he is not good at managing people. The goalkeeper just lost his mum for Godsakes. Are we this insensitive.
ReplyDeleteI will never watch super eagles again because of Vincent,s absence ,that team will keep loosing mark my word
ReplyDeleteI AM NOT A FOOTBALL FAN BUT NFF IS AGBAYA. THEY SHOULD TRY AND SETTLE THE MATTER AND RECALL VINCENT.
ReplyDeleteSee most of you now have turned against Enyeama well check your previous glorious comments @ xposee.com
ReplyDeleteHear this hungry journalist. In the country of the blind the one-eyed man is the king. You added no value becos you have nothing to add.
ReplyDeleteJust make sure you win all your next matches. Vincent or No Vincent. NFF You Hear?
Again, this guys show there lack of management skill, and open there mouth half hazzardly, a pity we choose not to think just act. Sorry vincent that you came from this part of the world.
ReplyDeleteVincent will be back. The same NFF will beg him. Now their pride and ego are blinding them. It is not just Vincent. It goes back to how we have never known how yo respect talents, experts, and achievers nor how to manage super athletes or the economy. Look at the AFN same issues. Look at the Refineries and NEPA same thing.
ReplyDeleteEnyeama is a man of Integrity, NFF and Oliseh are bunch of old idiots using sentiments and politics to coach a team let say baba catch you guys.
ReplyDelete
