Survivors: Boko Haram killing and kidnapping in villages

Boko Haram survivors say Boko Haram extremists bombed out of forest camps are attacking remote northeast Nigerian villages, killing scores and kidnapping hundreds of women, children and young men.

Farmer Muhammad Ali says militants armed with guns and swords took away his wife and two daughters, aged 9 and 3, from Abbacheri village.

He is among 400 refugees who say the attacks started a week ago and they walked for six days to reach safety.

A police officer says at least four ailing and malnourished children have died among refugees in Jakana, a village 40 kilometers (25 miles) west of Maiduguri city.

Nigeria's air force has been bombarding camps in Sambisa Forest as soldiers launched a ground offensive.

  4. I don't like the way the army is leaving remote villages vulnerable to BH .It is common knowledge that once BHs hiding place is destroyed, they'll run to weaker places to unleash their terror.I wish the forest has been well guarded to kill fleeing BH members.

  6. Buhari, this is not having a grip on bokoharam ooo.u are using sir strikes in a forest but just last week u said 336 captives were released(not chibok girls)....it looked fake snd we never heard of such missing persons before.but now let's say its true.then thst means there are a lot of captives in many boko holds.so who then are the airsyrikes killing.boko or their captives?an sirstrike is not best at all since there are captives.if not use air strike on vhibok girl location since buhari said he knows were they are.nigerisn leaders and army been lying since 1960..............Linda abeg post am oooo.
