Photos: See what a soldier did to this young man...

This incident reportedly happened at Oshodi yesterday afternoon. Its not clear what the young man did but no one should be treated in this manner.

      This is not a matter of 'This is too much'. In the USA, you dare not as a military person touch a civilian because you are considered to have 'special skills'. Police arrest military personnels that mess up or fight or whatever in public. The lack of strong institutions, abuse of Human rights and sheer wickedness to our fellow citizens have all contributed to Nigeria's mess

    While no one should be treated like that, I don't understand why you report such news without finding out what really happened. You don't report such and then pass judgement without getting the details of what happened linda because it would appear as you are trying to incite people emotions and reactions. That's a very wrong type of reporting without giving your readers the facts.

      What happened is irrelevant and does not justify the military man's action. If he was a victim, he has turned the civilian into a victim. Actions like these put the country in a mess regarding human rights and weapon acquisitions to fight BH....

    Don't mind these khaki boys.That's how they rough handled one trailer driver coz he knocked part of the bag of sand they placed as roadblock on the highway.The guy couldn't walk when they were done with him.

    I'm sorry to say that sometimes this people deserve this, that's arena at oshodi where I work going in,theres a railway just at the entrance, very busy railway at that. This buses park directly at the entrance and you have to honk for about 3-5minutes before they gradually move away. Imagine been on the railway and buses are hindering you from going through. They are nuisances and they deserve to be treated like animal sometimes, some of them would even still abuse u.most times we complain what exactly the works of the soldiers are when they can't even clear the entrance. Pardon me

    Most people in uniform fail to see that the power which the uniform provides should never be allowed to be abused. Some of them believe that they are the law and as such believe whatever punishment they deem appropriate to mete out to an erring person shouldn't be questioned. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
