Photos: Kaduna State unveils new official logo

Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-rufai has unveiled the state's new logo. The new logo which was unveiled at the 4th Town Hall meeting of the APC Kaduna State Government; Kaduna, today Saturday, 17, will henceforth be the new insignia of the state. It will be used in all the state's official communications, correspondences and transactions.

"As a reflection of our confidence in the future of Kaduna State, we are today unveiling a new State Logo. This logo represents a new brand identity for our state. Its constituent elements are rooted in the history and culture of our people. It retains Work and Worship, the old motto of the Northern Region, as our state motto. Let me express gratitude to the honorable members of our State House of Assembly for providing legislative anchor for the State Logo. All government stationery will henceforth carry this insignia." the Governor said in his keynote address.
The distinctive features of the logo include its motto: Work and Worship; green vegetation, which means Agriculture, Economy, Abundance and conservation. Crocodile stands for Strength, Resilience, Indestructibility and Ancestry; while cattle implies Fertility, Abundance and Nourishment.

    1. Who is really ruling Nigeria? EL RUFAI or BUHARI? I thought PMB said he didn't have a godfather. IT IS GLARINGLY OBVIOUS THAT EL RUFAI has BUHARI by his balls.

  16. What is it wit the Islamic Logo there? Is it only Muslims that live and own Kaduna state? They should have added cross sign to represent Christians. Senseless reason and design. Nasir El-Rufai want to islamize Kaduna.

  21. Nasir El-Rufai's logo for Kaduna State is so pathetic, vomit inducing and infuriatingly ugly. It's so occultic, it's like he's paying reverence to lucifer. It should be incinerated on Kufena mountain. Religion or occultism must be kept out of politics. Muslims, Christians should oppose the logo. It looks ver, very satanic. Was El Rufai drunk when he approved the insignia? Kaduna State should demand full refund.

Branding is not the main problem in Kaduna State. Brand identity will not fix the economy of Kaduna State.

Instead of El-Rufai to deliver the CHANGE he and his party promised, he delivered a changed logo, just to create the perception of CHANGE. Pathethic, really. People didn't vote for cosmetic CHANGE. People didn't vote for counterfeit CHANGE.

El Rufai has as much chance as he has of increasing his height as he has of delivering meaningful, uncommon and long lasting change in Kaduna State.

The people of Kaduna State, consider yourselves SCAMMED, already.

APC-LED GOVERNMENT IS A LOST CAUSE. NO BRAINS. FILLED WITH AMATUERS, CROOKS, COUNTERFEITS AND FAKERS.

  26. Funny how its only islam reprrsented and yet u peeps are do blind to realise the problem it would pose for Christians in the near future. Wich is y any one would call it nice! As far as i am concerned kaduna people should oppose it now before its too late for them and their generations yet unborn. Nigeria is a circular state no individual state has d right whatsoever to islamise a state. Enough is enough!

  27. hmmmm. hope u people are seeing the arewa Islamic sign at the top.
