Photos: Bus filled with passengers plunge into River along Lagos- Abeokuta road

Many are feared dead after an 18-seater commercial bus filled with passengers plunged into Arun river along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway today. Speaking on the incident, the Public Information Officer of the National Emergency Management Authority, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye said “NEMA, in strong partnership with the Ogun State Government, Ijebu East Local Government Council, the Federal Road Safety Commission and the police have mobilised local volunteers and divers to begin recovery of the victims,’’he said

  20. The "bucket full of garri" finishing sadists have removed all the bridge guards/railings that could have stopped the bus from plunging.
    Many killed by these greedy ones who will machete off their parents head for trying to correct them too late in their life.

  25. There were six people in the bus heading to okitipupa from lagos. Mostly goods purchased was in the vehicle. May their souls rest in peace.
