PDP senators stage walk out over Amaechi's ministerial confirmation

PDP senators in the senate this afternoon staged a walk out over Rotimi Amaechi's ministerial confirmation. The PDP senators are against his nomination and believe he should not be confirmed as there's a corruption case against him.

  13. It is clear that the PDP are only after Amaechi cos' of his role in the trumping of the PDP at the polls. This is wrong.I don't think the floor of the Senate is a place for political vendetta. How come there is no one arguing about Amaechi's innocence? So anyone calls someone corrupt, without valid proof or conviction in a court of law, that accusation becomes true.I am baffled.

  14. My dear Linda, those Senators who worked out, please show me one of them that does not have corruption saga hanging on their necks. I strongly believe that when the history of "politricking" is written in Nigeria, Amaechi will come out as one of our cleanest politicians. Whether they work out or not, the Almighty God that will serve will ensure that Amaechi will be victorious at the end. I am a member of the PDP, but I am also a believer in the truth and fairness.

  15. Useless PDP politicians, they want to continue to rule and squander forever. It's over for them jooor, they can as well resign and leave office. Gullible crooks. As if Amaechi is perturbed, i hope they all break their legs on the their ways out, mtsheeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  26. This is a shame to our democracy. The Senate President made me loose all the respect I ever had for him. I am not fan of any these political parties cos they are same. But let me say this, Buhari is not ready to fight any form of corruption. Any ethnic group that allows him jail any one from their community is a shame to them cos he is only fighting his enemies. Shame on him, Shame on those APC senators. Their conscience are all dead else they would not have treated the matter at all since Amaechi was already in court according to their rules. I am ashamed to be a Nigerian today. I hide my face in shame ! Corruption would never be reduced in this country!!!

  29. We need not their confirmation because they not better. Is it the likes of Stella Oduah, Akpabio, theodore Orji. Buruji kashamu that has hanging cases that will stage a work out and one will be bothered. PDP is still thinking they on top. They already relegated and they should work hard for promotion next season. We do not need their views in national development. We gave them opportunity for sixteen years and the result was recession and depression so why now they think their views count. Make them park well abeg.

    ReplyDelete
  30. even Stella Odua, Kashamu, Akpabio, David Mark walk out..... Na wa oh this PDP saints na wa ohh.......so suprised they shameless....

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am really tired of Nigeria. I appreciate their zealousness in the fight against corruption. But their logic doesn't make sense. Godswill Akpabio who would have walked out has a petition against him at EFCC has he suspended himself from the senate before requesting for Amaechi to be suspended?

Also their Oga in charge. Saraki has a case against him, has anybody suggested he be suspended until after the change? Day by Day I keep loosing hope that black people will be able to rule themselves the right way and without bias. How do these people get to senate, they lack the proper human logic to occupy such an office.

We should start introducing psychometric tests for sensitive public offices, we need to rule out dullards like fayose, akpabio and all these old fools I see in Nigeria's upper chamber including the APC fools. They have no kobo sense, with no level of human development investment they are occupying sensitive offices. Its a shame on Nigerian youths including myself, that all these guys keep taking us for fools. They have no difference between personal and national interest. They behave anyhow without any rules or boundaries.

One day, you people's cup will become full and we will burn this nation to the ground with you with physical fire as you wish, because I don't see how stealing billions of naira from a nation is not burning it to the ground.

We are here jobless and you think we will fold our hands and clap for you forever? If you don't know N80B stolen by 1 fool is more than enough to employ more than 20,000 graduates as when government spends this money on reasonable projects more people will be employed to achieve it. It also has a rippling effect to cater for many more people and even reduce crime.

Just know this wont go on forever, if my generation doesn't do it, one will do it ask Assad. A generation will forcefully and violently change Nigeria if that's what it takes to stop all this nonsense. They will even be more deadly than boko haram and their sole aim will be to consume thieving fools for embarassing us all the time!
