As he been dey do am bad, na so the man dey rise.Amaechi is rising, Wike is falling. What a life lesson. You do not bite the finger that fed you, biko.

    3. Reading comments on this blog makes me conclude that most of the comment here are not based on truth. We rush to comment like being the first wins one a million dollar. Judging by how things av been unfolding the past few weeks, its certain that the presidency and the APC re calling the shots at the tribunals. I know they can't get any of the south- south states, even if they conduct elections a thousand times, PDP will still win in these states because of their grass root political structure. Am not a member of the PDP neither am I in the APC but in all honesty, this is not how we want to see the change. If you claim to be fighting corruption and you equally involve in corrupt practices, nobody is going to take serious your change mantra. Hear this: RIVERS, AKWA IBOM, and DELTA will still remain PDP states.. @annonymous this is not directed to u.

    4. I tend to disagree with you a bit. The conduct of elections in Rivers State was plain armed robbery. Are you justifying that or just being sentimental? A lot of people lost their lives, the then governor was restricted from moving. please, if you were the governor then, how would you have felt?

  34. I am happy! It's only in a lawless country that Wike will be left to do as he likes. He is governor of Rivers state, instead of governance, Amaechi is always on his lips. For his sake, he should win at the re-run because he won't have the Police to aid and abet thuggery, he can't import thugs from outside the state. This time it will be monitored properly. People will come out boldly to vote not hide in their homes for fear of being hounded down. People must take responsibility for their actions or inactions.

  55. For those of you who think this is all about oil money, you must be living under the caves all this while, Kidly do a little reading on shale gas and tight oil, all other unconventional sources and the effect they are having on your oil price in the spot market. If at this time of the century young ones still imagine that oil (not even gas) is the bane of your existence as a Nigerian, you are seriously delusional. China that has become the major off-takers of your fossil fuel is strategically cutting down on its usage to meet their carbon targets. You see, we have no hope if we keep thinking about this oil all the time. and by chance the commenters decide to start blowing up pipelines to 'halt' revenue generation for the entire country... remember Iran, Venezuela, Russia can trade with Asia and no sir, USA ain't buying from you even if they need to make up for what they currently produce while Canada is there,. Might I add also, new African oil frontiers. So pls quite deluding yourselves. We've lost that quota
