  17. This country.nothing is balanced at all.the people lack power(pdp) and the government is unwilling to truly change(apc)....its sad.this country is due for a big revolution.but who wants to go.in this country its individual life before country.in white countries its the country before individual lives.this is one of the country where government slaps the people for something they did then tell the people "u were being naughty".at least if anything good can come from amaechis confirmation its the opening of a few eyes that this government is not bringing any change and that pmb is corrupt.now watch as the same saraki they claimed to have an arrest warrant for and who seem like he had just a few days left in office, goes on to be senate president for four years.apc is shady in all dealings jare.elections,tribunal,appointments.they are far from clean.but they are already beginning to show themselves.pdp years where not the best.it was count down to gejs last year that people began to lose faith in him becos of sponsored boko haram.Pdp years were actually mediocre, good at somethings and bad at others......I'm still waiting to see where apc is truly good.confirming corrupt men while claiming saints, economy, insecurity?where are they good for now.at least buhari should tell sambisa boys to give it a rest.mchew...............Linda please post oooh.I posted early so no chop

That is why the world does not take us seriously. Bunch of jokers and failures. They way i am seeing things Buhari will definitely lose his international good will. The fool and tribalist be shouting kwarruption kwarruption every day mean while he is corruption himself.

After that, save some money and visit Nigeria and see your aged parents you left since last decade...while you're here, we'll educate you about the Lion called Amaechi

    10. Anon8:28pm and 8:44pm one thing i have learnt about Nigerians is that they never face the bitter truth. If you guys like continue your thugery for stupid politicians who do not give a damn about you. Fools. That is why you guys keep on going round and round in circles without any form of development. I weep for you guys. Come and see the way development haooens over here. With a twinkling of an eye. Meanwhile in Nigeria they make it seem like rocket science.

    11. Anon 8:44pm washing what plates. Keep on consoling your self in your hot smelly room without electricty nor clean water. From what i heard from friend with the rate of inflation in Nigeria right now you might be forced to pick bread for your breakfast from dustbins very soon. You might not even have a job to make a buck because
of the rate of unemployment right now. You are their hailing those that are supposed to be serving you guys yet they are stealing you blind. There is news over here of that thief Amaechi going behind Dakuku Peterside's back to buy his (ie Petersides) hotel in PH after he (Amaechi) convinced Peterside to sell his hotel to pay up the debt he is owing APC for his campaign they sponsored. Amaechi should have just told Peterside that he wanted to buy the hotel. Instead he sneackingly deceived Peterside. Amaechi is a first class crook.

    5. What does "things will be involved at the end" mean? How can you comprehend what people are saying or writing if your grammar is not "involving" you? Please go back to JSS1 and restart your English classes. People with bad grammar should be barred from posting comments.

      Delete
    6. Linda please hire an editor or reject stupid posts like this one.
The words involved, loose and trail are wrong. This semi-literate reader had intended to use words evolve, lose and trial but he probably does know the differences. It irritates when an ill-educated reader mixes good opinion with bad grammar.
      Please take note.

  38. This is the beginning of corruption in Nigeria, Buhari is the greatest enemies to south-south and south-east. Its time will Broke up.Dis is disgrace to nations called nigeria in highest order.Where is the change clamoring for? Wao to APC. deceivers, south west have learnt their lesson by now.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nigeria isn't ready to move ahead.. it's all about the game of politics.. I expected the "change" government to lay the foundation that may move the nation forward. It is quite a pity that we see amaechi crowned minister. For the mere fact that his name is found wanting in both political and corrupt issues is enough to be laid out of the ministerial position. Well, the same crucifixion suffered by his former boss shall the present suffer. He is not to be trusted.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't think those commentators went to school. Their comments are incoherent and their written English - horrible. These are the popular Tinubu touts and hooligans. They should leave intelligent commentary to those who understand the intricacies of politics. Progressives my foot!

  42. Anon 7:24 dis thing have pain u gan o. Pele, it's good u're in England cos it's evident u don't understand Nigerian politricks. Saraki jus sealed his senate presidency by confirming Ameachi. Except something else happens, that seat is as good as his birthright for now. .........And even in dis ur England, Ameachi would have been confirmed bcos leaving him out in d cold will send a msg that d party was not worth fighting for. Ameachi is d strongest ally from the SS and he is needed asides from not wanting to send a wrong msg. One thing is evident in Apc, loyalty counts. That kind of msg is attractive to members. Much as we like to believe OYIBO pole are saints, sorry to bust ya bubble, look well well.

    1. Pls Oyibo politicians are saints compaired with our African politicians. Besides the institutions thet have would never in this world have allowed someone like Amaechi to become a minister. There is no way he can be entangled in corruption allegations and still be made a minister. it is so obvious that you have never been overseas unless you would know that the system would not allow you to get away with such things. Never. The law in those countries are stronger than any one person or persons.

  44. the reason people hate Amaechi isn't because he is corrupt or that he has a pending petition, but because of his key role in the emergence of Buhari as President Nigerians pls let's call a spade a spade, corruption rings everywhere we are all involved in it, even those who cry out the loudest that he be denied the ministerial role are worse na because dem nor de significant. all the senators who sat to grill the nominees are all corrupt, who amongs them got that seat on merit? who? they all seat and see a dust in Amaechis eyes while ignoring the forests in theirs. leave Amaechii alone he is bad but better than you all you clueless generation.

    3. River state people do not hate amaechi becos of Apc or buhari, we seriously hate amaechi becos of how irresponsible he sounded and acted during election, he embezzled funds for important projects and left civil servants hungry including corpers. The worst of all is he kept shouting corruption when he's as corrupt as the devil himself .amaech is a big thief and it's so clear that wike will always get the votes of rivers state except the presidency Rigs it

  47. It's just sad that Nigeria kept producing the same group of people in different shades. APC/PDP/LP e.t.c Its all the same. It's more sad that the average Nigerian will NOT benefit from these bunch of senators, some of us will survive but a whole lot will roast, it's always been like that in the affairs of men throughout history (The 80/20 Principle).
I guess we believed too much in our leaders, that for once we will finally have a shot to break an inch or inches away from our livid economic/politically situation...guess what, its all a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yeah! PDP party criminals should continue to walk out @ Nass! Amaechi my man is already a Minister... Vote Dakuku Peterside for governor for Rivers State 2015. He is the only credible Man who have the Rivers State people @ his heart and he'll take Rivers State people to the promise land. Vote APC for #change in Rivers State.

  49. Nigeria's politics is a farce.

    ReplyDelete
  50. We're too quick to forget that Buhari would not have made it to the presidency without folks like Ameachi & other political stalwarts. Check Ameachi's role in Buhari's emergence @d primaries. As much as we're particularly about +change, political power is also key for Governance.
Talking of Saraki, he's mend d issues with APC & PDP can't deny him so fast, else they'll lose d deputy sen president's sit and go into extinction. It's a game!

  51. All of u cursing! If it where a PDP candidate you all will say he's corrupt but bc it's APC he's a good man! Time will tell....like I always say all of them are corrupt including the PMB himself bc he benefited from stolen money that why he has refuse Amechi to be probed.
