Lamar Odom leaves ICU, now talking and walking with help

Lamar is 'walking with help now,' according to a report in UsWeekly. 'Lamar is getting better every day,' a source told the magazine. 'He is more coherent and can talk more.'

He has been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit. 'He is doing very well and continues to be a fighter. He hasn't given up once, and this will really help him in the future,' said a friend

'He is getting stronger every day. And has a great team of therapists and specialists working with him.
'He's 6' 11' and weighs a lot, so getting him to walk a little has been really hard.'

However, the former LA Lakers star is far from out of the woods yet; he is still in 'definite' need of a new kidney, and remains on dialysis after suffering organ failure over the weekend.

According to the source, doctors at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center are also still 'trying to get his kidneys to function on their own."

  15. Aww! Thank you Lord for giving him a second chance! My advice is that people around him make sure they secure at least 100 yards perimeter wherever he is and that even the aroma of COFFEE doesn't penetrate that perimeter.
