EFCC raid, seal Diezani Alison-Maduekwe's Abuja home following her arrest

According to sources in the know, the Asokoro, Abuja home of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has not only been raided but also sealed by officials of EFCC. They were there this afternoon and stayed for a few hours. There are security operatives reportedly currently stationed at the palatial home.

Diezani was arrested this morning in London for offences related to bribery and corruption and I hear there are plans to extradite her.

  19. They should not extradite her o. She should be tried and kept there. They don't have special prison for Nigerian politicians there and they'll make sure she stays alive and pays back what she stole.
Now if she's found innocent, then am happy for her but until then justice must take its course.

  56. In as much as I applaud Buhari and his administration for this and other attempts to stop corruption and make corrupt officials accountable, I will not take them seriously until they investigate IBB, Obasanjo and all the other big corrupt past govt officials.

Its very sad that only the pepper a common man steals is punishable as well as a rouge female offical but if you are a MAN and you steal trillions and you are close to a few ORACLES of Naija = freedom.

Buhari if you get liver I double dare you to go after IBB. That will be the day I will start shouting SAI BABA!!! For now make una dey entertain una selves.

  74. I am very sure many EFCC guys would have gotten rich by pocketing as much hard currency as they could code under their jackets all under the guise of raid. Sharp guys. There's definitely enough loose change in that house for the boys

    ReplyDelete
  75. Raiding the minister's house at this point is seneless why not arrest her since all these while in Nigeria where she belongs?
It means that UK police instigated the authority to of Nigerians agents to do their jobs as they never know what to be done at the right time.
However she is not the only one to be raided and arrested for trial and it will be stupify and rediculus to see that other countries taking action before Nigeria government take necessary action on whom to be prosecuted and tired for Briery and curruption
