Chief Olu Falae identifies 5 of the people who kidnapped him

Chief Olu Falae, who was kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen and released after paying N5m ransom four days after, has identified his abductors who were paraded before him by the police on Tuesday. He identified 4 of the kidnappers who were mean to him and 1 who was kind to him.
Five of Falae’s kidnappers were arraigned, yesterday, before an Akure High Court, Ondo and Chief Falae will be the star witness when the trial starts on November 10.
The suspects, who were docked for kidnapping, conspiracy and armed robbery 24 days after abduction were Abubakar Auta, Bello Jannu, Umaru Ibrahim, Masahudu Muhammed and Idris Lawal all pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them.

Three of the kidnappers admitted that their share from the N5m ransom collected was N100,000 each. The accused persons could not speak English and were ordered to be remanded in prison custody by the high court judge, Justice Rotimi Olamide till November 10 when the case would be heard.

  26. Olu Falae shouldn't allow the police use him to arrest innocent citizens. When he was released, he claimed they were fulanis and they spoke good English. I found it hard to believe that fulani nomads could speak good English and now they are saying those that were arrested do not speak English. Na wa for this country sha.

  27. Ok now. Let the people who were arguing with olu falae that his kidnappers were not fulanis come out again. I said it that that man had no reason to make up the Fulani story. The truth is the fulanis have become terrorists in this parts of the world . Yes it may not be all fulanis but pls let the other fulanis accept that their brothers have become a problem in this country and call them to order. That's the way forward. The same goes for bolo haram, Muslims are saying they are not Muslims, so what are they? Are they christains? Hindus? NO! They are Muslims but have gone out of the boundaries of the Muslim faith that's all instead of this foolish denials let the real Muslims call this other rascals to order and remind them that Islam is not about force NDIC violence instead denying the obvious . Thank you.

Some people are ignorant they dontreason before talking OK about making confession then denying we all knows that our lawyers will definitely tell to deny when docked and about English speaking one or two of them yet to be arrested understand English also about the ransom police were aware when the family paid the kidnappers let for once give kudos to the police.

  47. Rosie Said........So far so good. The police and the investigators should get to the bottom of this. As in who instigated this kidnapping in the first place, because there is no way these hausa boys will dream and wake up and decide to go and kidnap Chief Falae, how do they even know his house?..........Like an Igbo saying goes,Its the house mouse that will tell the street mouse that there is dry fish at home.
