Two Nigerians arrested in Australia over importation of 40kg drugs concealed in DVD players

Two Nigerian men, Chibuike Anyasor, 33, and Joe Iwuchukwu Odemegwo, 51, were yesterday September 3rd arrested by the Australian police for allegedly importing more than 40 kilograms of methamphetamine which they concealed inside bar fridges and Jackie Chan-branded DVD players.

The two Nigerians appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today. Ansayor, described by police as a key figure in the drug importation syndicate, was charged with importing and attempting to possess methamphetamine. Odemegwo was charged with attempting to possess a commercial quantity of methamphetamine. If found guilty they face a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.

  34. Boys dey hustle, ibo or no ibo, things are not smiling. Ibo people are just the most hurt by their cultural must get rich syndrome, it's the environment and the lack of where you get money from their parents, most ibo parents no they try to curb the childs ojukokoro, instead, they rejoice when the money comes that's all that matters to them, most other tribes will ask there kids where then get money. Lets keep helping the boys, they were not trained properly, and there's a lot of suffering at home. Linda take fucking note. I love you die, cried reading your story. You show them day you be exceptional ibo girl, and I know lots of good ibo girls too. Thanks for inspiring our girls, it takes a lot.

Listen to the clown "we are not as lazy as the westerners and northerners". Still in denial. Linda highlighting this as its a problem especially to these communities who are losing their children to these get rich quick schemes.
Where are the village heads /community leaders to speak to these inpatient groups.

    2. This is why they preach not to stuff ballot boxes for greedy, incompetent, clueless politicians.
These guys do their bid for them and the region is left undeveloped, meanwhile the politicians have lined their pockets and cant careless for its people. Elect people that will serve the people, create jobs etc and not ones that bribe you with N1000 and thereafter leaving them with reduced opportunities.

Stop covetting. If contentment can enter their spirit they will be ok. But they want what others have worked for but in their case speedily.
Nollywood needs to be responsible as well. Alot of these films portray these get this rich things in their films too much.

  57. n states are being managed by these insatiable, incompetent politicians, they will be busy critising the governance of the South western states, especially Lagos. Reasons why one says this is because of things like this. The SS politicians get away with a lot. They have denied so many young able men the opportunity to work or be liberated.
The Premium times just reported that State Security Service familiar with the SSS raid of the Akwa Ibom Government House said they stumbled on “shocking stockpiles of U.S. dollars” in one of the guest rooms.
Apparantly the new Governor is yet to move to the Government house. Akpabio has really placed a real stooge to run the affairs of Akwa Iboms.
No wonder the election in that state was a real do or die with massive ballot stuffing so his stooge is placed in the helms of power to cover his tracks.
Any wonder these boys are resorting to drug trafficking when leaders at the top don't depict good examples.
