PDP Media Watchdog to President Buhari: Your appointments is Asymmetrical and Fraudulent

Below is a press statement from The PDP Media Watchdog
The PDP Media Watchdog has described the appointments so far made by President Buhari as fraudulent and asymmetrical, saying that the President's anti-corruption war is a charade and a deceit. The group while responding to the recent appointments as announced by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said that people's expectation of President Buhari to remove his ethnic and military mentality and embrace democracy may not come to pass after all.
"We mentioned this in our last statements that President Buhari and the APC is only making noise with corruption and probe to cover up their plans to derail this country. The President claimed to be fighting corruption but does not know that even lopsided appointment is also corruption. According to an English dictionary, corruption is defined as 'dishonest actions that destroys people's trust in the person or group' and in another definition, it says, 'corruption is the misuse of entrusted power (by heritage, education, marriage, election, appointment or whatever else) for private gain'

So, we wish to advise President Buhari to review his appointments to meet federal character otherwise all his efforts at fighting corruption will amount to witch-hunting" the group said. To support their positions, the group went further to list out the positions, names of individuals appointed into such post and the region where these persons hail from.

"Out of 36 known appointments so far, Mr. President and his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) allocated 11 positions to the South and gave 25 to the North which is a clear departure from the CHANGE mantra the APC promoted before and during the elections" the Watchdog said.

They re-echoed that except President Buhari reverse or invalidate some of  his appointments to meet ethnic balance in the country and remove those perceived to be his family member or close associates, Nigerians and the International Community should never support his anti-corruption war which according to the group is only mere witch-hunting.

  14. I support this statement 100%. If this should continue, the PDP should explore all avenues to bring IMPEACHMENT proceedings on this Lawless President. I am beginning to see the APC Party as one of the Greatest Fraud of the 21st century

  21. While it is no issue with the President finding competent and capable hands with whom to pilot the affairs of this country from any corner of the country or even the globe, provided the person is a Nigerian. But let it be on record that, in this time in our a history, a president has chosen to find an overwhelming majority of his appointees from a particular part of the country which happened to also be where he hails from. This in my view is nepotism and it is advanced form of corruption. As we condemn previous protest/crisis occasioned by perceived similar action in the past, especially as championed by the today beneficiaries of this lop-sidedness, i also call for equanimity and understanding from them should a future president chose to follow this precedent in favouring another part of the country

  24. He wouldn't heed this warning. Didn't he know what the reactions will be before he made the appointments? The truth is that he doesn't care. That is the change that Nigerians want. They shouldn't complain

  25. And so!!!They should go and die

  26. Though I am a Buhari supporter, I have to confess that There is cause for deep worry at Buhari's seeming bigotry and nepotism. Honestly....

  27. i am not a fan of this guy and i will never be. I stated my reason during the election campaign but it seems Nigerians wanted to remove Jonathan so bad that made them turn deaf hear. He is making all our southern people look corrupt, whereas the north is the most corrupt tribe in this country. Tell me, Is it not corruption to alocate 98% of the oil block to the north? Head of all govt parastatals are northerners, when you go into the sport administration, Education, petroleum, central banks and other institution, majority of them, their heads and administrators are northerners. tell me, is that not corruption? When the north distorted the data of the first census and subsequent census data to get more allocation, is that not corruption? When you give the same allocation to Lagos state and Gombe, that is corruption.
Let me tell you the simple truth: this is not their Agenda, this is Plan B. the plan A was that when Jonathan refused the election result, they will destroy everything.
This man is never a good man, Let God reveal the real agenda of this man to you.
Now tell me in 3 months, power has just been stable, oh i like it but tell me what exactly has Buhari done to power sector that we now have light constantly than before. They just destroyed Goodluck administration, they furstrated that man to make him look bad, even the Bring back our girls campaign base has been shifted from Abuja to Lagos.

  29. So this is what the PDP is ending up becoming - street dogs or watch dogs. From there they'll degenerate to street pigs, fowls, ants, mosquitoes and then go extinct. Lol.

  30. I totally prefer the so called PMB fraud to the unthinkable and unforgivable looting carried out by PDP, GEJ and all their accursed co looters in the last 16 years. The Judgement of God is being unleashed upon all the looters including the PDP watch dog?, sorry animals and their entire generation. they will not go scott free as the axe of gods judgement will cut them down one by one. They and their entire household for the evil and hardship visited on the ordinary helpless nigerian. All their loot will never profit them and it will be a source of untold sorrow to them and their household.
