Nigerian Army reinstates 2,500 soldiers and 102 officers

Over 2,500 soldiers who were dismissed or asked to withdraw from service for refusing to fight Boko Haram and other counter-insurgency offenses have been recalled by the Nigerian army. 102 officers who were facing prosecution over their involvement or lack of involvement in the fight against Boko Haram, have also been re-instated. They were re-instated by a panel set up by the Army last week.

The soldiers and officers are now retraining at the Nigerian Army Training Centre, Kontangora, Niger State.

    1. I'm sorry to say that you are very silly.. if GEJ remained president these soldiers would have been left to die for telling the truth and all you can say is that Buhari is trying to spite GEJ.

      Wow!!!!

  16. The best news in days. Sai Baba Sai Buhari!!! Galant soldier till the end of time. You don't just dismiss soldiers and make them completely useless to themselves and the society at large, punish them and re-integrate them back into the system
