Chairman Aquila Group - Shina Peller visits Benin Republic Govt (photos)

Shina Peller, the chairman of the Aquila Group visited Benin republic a few days ago on the invitation of the government of the country, to explore investment opportunities for his diversified group of companies.

Aquila Group consists of Aquila Building and projects Limited, Aquila Oil and Gas Limited, Aquila Global Resources Limited, Quilox Restaurant, Bar and Night club, Aquila Records & Zalalem BDC.


Mr Peller was welcomed at the Seme border by the commissioner of Police and escorted into Cotonou by the presidential guard. While in Benin Republic, Shina Peller held high level meetings with the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Customs Chief, Members of Parliament, His Excellency the Mayor of Dangbo and the head of the office of formalizing business.

The Benin government gave Shina Peller assurance that they would provide an enabling environment for him to replicate his investments in Nigeria in Benin Republic. Shina Peller was also hosted by the ONG Jeunesse Dynamique a prominent NGO in France and Benin Republic which focuses on poverty eradication and education, Mr Peller is a grand patron of the organization to which he made an undisclosed donation during his visit.

Mr. Peller intends to honour the rare invitation extended to him by looking closely at the business opportunities therein, thereby further uniting the two countries Nigerian and the Benin Republic in the process.
