Buhari is still behaving like a military dictator- Afenifere chairman says

The Chairman of Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti says President Buhari is still behaving like a military dictator since assuming office on May 29th. He said this while addressing newsmen in Akure, Ondo state over the weekend.

“President Buhari is running a one-man show. Let him appoint his cabinet and start serious business. I think the President should sit down and have a package. What people are saying is very correct that he is just picking people here and there. He seems not to have settled down to governance yet and  time is flying. Let him constitute the cabinet and start working. As it is now, Buhari is still behaving like a military dictator. Just picking on people, he should sit down to work. He is running a one man show now" he said.

  4. Afenifere you deserve a sweet kiss from a hot chick for this brilliant statement. Buhari is nothing to write home about. I don't even tell my friends here the name of my president cos everyone knows he's as useless as a church rat.

  15. Shut up Reuben Fasoranti. Over 16yrs that PDP did not run a one man show, what did they achieve? Stealing, looting etc. you were among them. Your brother Obasanjo ran a one man show and achieved absolutely nothing. You did not complain. Fasoranti, are u not aware that our refinaries are working, ur brother Obj could not revamp them. Fasoranti, are you not aware that we are now having electricity in Nigeria. Your brother Obj did nothing in this area. Fasoranti, are you not aware of how much revenue generated from oil within 3 months of Buhari's administration. Your brother Obj stole a lot of our oil money. Fasoranti, you are a bloody disgrace, ofe mmanu.

  19. Buhari does not have any plans for Nigeria, we have a president that cannot differentiate his left from right. His only achievement since entering office is noise about probe, yet no one has been genuinely probed. Buhari should resign ASAP.

  40. Actually yeah!, Bt he is worth giving the time, he has been tested and trusted. About time running out, he achieved what gave him a name 2dae within 2 years (1983-1985), so he can do even better within 4 years. So I don't think he is running out of time. Let's have patience and watch

  41. He has his way and plan to run his administration without any pressure from the Afenifere body and the public, people should know that things need to go through due process,a lot of things has been seriously damaged from the corrupt previous administration which can not be rectified in a short time as people wish. President Buhari is on the right track or step, corruption should be first thing to tackle on before any other things will be followed.Mr Afenifere you are entitle to your opinion likewise others.

  42. Abeg this yoruba bush village tout should go and sit down in the village where he belongs. He is just talking crap. Before people are appointed ministers, they need to run a check on them and their profiles and this takes up to 2 to 3 months. If Buhari hurridly picks ministers and later we find out that the minister is an ex-convict or does not have the education qualification that he claims he has, you are thesame people that will run to the media to blame Buhari for not running a check on them first before appointing them. We Nigerians just like talking too much. Pls can PDP touts shut up and let Buhari work. Stmchew
