Vlisco is now in Lagos

Fashion, networking, excitement, music, entertainment and lots of food. Vlisco, a renowned fashion and textile brand launched its first flagship store at the Ikeja City Mall, Lagos on Saturday, 18th July.

The store launch commenced with a press meet and greet with A-list press houses and bloggers across Lagos in an ambient location at the Ikeja City Mall where details of the brand, its rich history and its plans in Nigeria were shared.

Guests enjoyed good music as sultry singer Nayosoul dished out amazing tunes whilst networking and interviews took place, and there was also cold champagne on standby courtesy of VeuveCliquot of Moet Hennessey. After the meet and greet, the attendees were encouraged to fill out style secrets and these secrets were spread across the city via balloons.

The launch which was well attended had celebrities and fashion bloggers such as Stephanie Linus, Sola Sobowale, Ireti Doyle, FunlolaAofiyebi-Raimi, DenreleEdun, LanreDasilvaAjayi, Mon Ami, OzzyAgu, MunachiAbii, AdesuwaOnyenokwe and AdedotunAkande at the event. Below are pictures from the event.

  6. Bonario and the bunch of people from the south south and south east supporting Buhari, una hear am? Bonario, continue supporting o. Has Buhari given u his daughter Zara to marry yet, or have u gotten the job as his driver yet or at least gateman, because it is clear that that is your ambition for selling your birthright. Chin Chin nor go gum u and all u fake supporters, u will see. Nonsense. Continue with the customary salute of “God bless u for me, my president”. Shior

  20. @amakanwa, there were government policies inhibiting imported textile business outside Tinapa (Vlisco has always had a store there).
As for say the material cost, abeg nah say you never get the money to afford. Work harder and you'll get there.
