Three arrested in the death of Nigerian model, Michael Adegbite

Montel Ajayi, 18, Christopher Nzeh, 18, and Isacc Owen-Brady, 18, have been charged with the murder of 28 year old Nigerian fitness model and teaching assistant, Michael Adegbite who was killed in Enfield on Sunday evening as he tried to sell his laptop.

The boys appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates court today charged with robbery and murder.

Michael had met the trio to sell a laptop to one of them but they attempted to rob him. He and his friend snatched back the laptop and left. Only to return with another friend to confront the boys. A fight ensued and Michael was stabbed to death. Sad!

    1. When I first travelled abroad to UK we used to look down on Jamaicans because their teenagers used to run around the streets causing problems, stabbing, shooting etc. We will boast about our strong religious, cultural and family values as if we were a special set of people. We will also make fun of their girls who dressed trashy and were always available in black clubs. Fast forward 15 yrs and now and it's Nigerian teenagers causing problems all over London and some other cities. Nigerian youths have also taken over the black clubs scene (due to the rise of afro beat?) and our girls are everywhere gyrating and grinding. It's funny how everything changes with time. I've had to eat humble pie.

  20. GLAD THE CULPRITS WERE CAUGHT.
SAD ABOUT THE DEATH OF THIS FINE GUY.
NOT JUST COS HIS FINE, ITS A SAD STORY.
    LESSON LEARNED :::

TO BE DUPED OR ROBBED IS ANNOYING BUT..
LET THE ANGER GO. LET THE MONEY GO. LET IT GO.
AVOID CONFRONTATIONS. IT SEEMS WEAK, BUT IT IS WISDOM.
ITS THE HUMBLE AND WISE THING TO DO
    SOME FRIENDS THOUGH!!!!
WHY DID THEY ENCOURAGE HIM AND FOLLOW HIM TO GO BACK TO THE THIEVES
    THIEVES? CRIMINALS?
WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH SMOKE AND DRUG THEY DID THAT DAY ALONE
    AND THEY COULD BE ARMED
HOW DO YOU CONFRONT SUCH LOW LIVES, MICHAEL AND FRIENDS??
THEY HAVE NOTING TO LOSE, NOTHING!!
YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO LOSE-- YOUR TALENTS, DEGREES, CAREER ON THE LINE

BE CAREFUL THE KINDA FRIENDS YOU KEEP
SOME ONLY GIVE BAD ADVICE. TERRIBLE ADVICE!
GOD SAVE US FROM FRIENDS LIKE THIS
WHO WE TELL ABOUT HOW SOME SICK LOW LIVES ALMOST STOLE OUR LAPTOP
AND INSTEAD OF LAUGHING IT OFF
    OR LETTING IT GO
THEY ADVICE US TO GO BACK TO FIGHT THE LOSERS
    GOD HAVE MERCY
    PEACE TO THE DEAD.

  21. That is a stupid move on his side as well, why would you return to a situation like that? Those youmgsters have no life, they have no carer and nothing to lose. It's like they are build to commit crime , we should just pray not to come across them and you are luck enough to escape only to go back and meet your death.

  22. Kai so sad o see as this young boys cut short this fine guy life, and they will waste their own miserable lives in jail, if you do the crime be ready to do the time shikena!!!

Why return to the scene of the crime if you were able to snatch your laptop back?

I'm not surprised he was killed by fellow nigerians. I'm 100% sure both the victim, his friends and the suspects've never stepped a foot in Nigeria all their lives; they're only viewed as Nigerian after committing this atrocity.
