Stephen Keshi demands N1billion compensation from NFF

Sacked Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi is demanding N1billion compensation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for defaming him. According to Vanguard, Keshi has dragged the NFF to court for “wrongful dismissal and defamation”. A top source told said
“Keshi’s lawyers have demanded for a billion Naira from the NFF as compensation for defaming their client.”
A letter from Keshi's lawyers was sent to NFF on Friday July 24th. Keshi was sacked by the NFF on July 5 just four months after he'd signed a new two-year contract to coach the Super Eagles.

    Being tidy and respectful is part of national and personal dignity. We do to ourselves what we would not like others to do to us. It does not do Nigeria proud to always treat ppl shabbily. Stephen Keshi did Nigeria proud at so many occasions that he deserved to be treated like a hero and head of service. Keshi has an MON Medal that many of the NFF members will never get.
    He worked several months without pay, paid his assistant from his pocket, built up a team with new talents. Sacrificed his holiday time. Let us not look at the medals he won for Nigeria. Some ppl just hated his guts and his humility. Please, let us learn to be civil and decent that others will treat us same too.
