There was a bomb blast three hours ago at Gambori market in Maiduguri, Borno. 8 people have been confirmed dead and many injured in the blast. Some graphic pics from the scene of the incident..

Something is definitely not right with our intelligence gathering. How come in Chad and Cameroun, the security agents were able to act very fast over suicide bombers who could not detonate IEDs but over here, it is always success story for the insurgents? The military is trying but they need to do more. Obviously, the insurgents are loosing grounds in terms of physical (war-front) battles hence the shift to suicide bombing but as an intelligent military, an abnormal problem requires abnormal solution. Device another tactics, methodology, approach - think deeply outside the box!
