Niger state first Lady offers to work as a gynaecologist in state general hospital

The first lady of Niger state, Dr. Amina Bello has offered to work as gynecologist at the state General hospital in Minna the state capital.

Speaking during her visit to the hospital yesterday July 10th, Mrs Bello said;
"My visit is to see how I can contribute to the society. That is what I do. I see pregnant women, I see women with problems, I operate on women on caesarian section; that is what I intend to do as my own contribution. The hospital should expect better services. I would like to contribute my own quota, visit some of these women, spend time with them, helping with their surgeries and deliveries. I also need to see how the premises, where I will render my services, looks like. And I am very happy because the environment is so clean despite the old structures.”she said

    7. Why are we so vain? When Peter Odili was the governor of Rivers State, his wife stilled worked as a Judge. So what wrong with a governor's wife still on active duty? Using the word "offer" is wrong. If she works with no pay say so but don't say she offered. What was she doing before she became a governor's wife? Abeg, make Una stop hyping people that are doing what they should be doing.

  33. This is so refreshing to see. Because muslims all across the world are tainting that religion and its believers. I can't believe a woman in hijab listed all those western way of treatment and can even perform them perfectly. Kudos to her for getting a great education and using it to save mankind not destroy those who don't believe in her God

  40. I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE FIND IT DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE THAT SHE IS A GYNAECOLOGIST. IS IT BECAUSE SHE IS FROM THE NORTH? I HAVE A LOT OF NORTHERN FRIENDS THAT ARE FEMALE DOCTORS AND PHARMACIST AND THEY ARE ALL FROM THE NORTH

    ReplyDelete
  41. THE FACT THAT MOST NORTHERNERS DONT GO TO SCHOOL DOESNT MEAN THAT WE DONT HAVE SOME THAT WENT TO SCHOOL. WHY ARE PEOPLE FINDING DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE THAT SHE IS A DOCTOR? THE NORTHERN PART OF NIGERIA IS NOT HOW IT USED TO BE. IT IS FAST DEVELOPING. A LOT OF FEMALES ARE NOW GETTING EDUCATED BEFORE MARRAIGE OR EVEN IN THEIR HUSBAND'S HOUSES WHILE MARRIED. SO MAKE UNA FREE THE WOMAN. NA WAH OH

  42. CHANGE HAS COME. ONCE THE HEAD IS GOOD, EVERYBODY WILL FOLLOW SUIT. BUHARI STARTED THE HUMILITY, NOW EVERYBODY IS ALSO BEING HUMBLE. GOOD START!

    ReplyDelete
  43. NIGERIA HAS BECOME SO BAD THAT WHEN THEY SEE SOMETHING GOOD COMING THEIR WAY, THEY DOUBT IT. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE ARE DOUBTING IF SHE IS ACTUALLY GOING TO CARRY OUT THE HUMANITARIAN TASK SHE PROMISED. SOME ARE EVEN DOUBTING IF SHE IS ACTUALLY A DOCTOR. POVERTY HAS TURNED US TO DOUBTING THOMAS'. I WEEP FOR NIGERIA!!!

    Buhari wife and the rest should emulate the same, not wearing expensive wrist watch, going to Maiduguri to cry and sitting down doing nothing, you are there to serve the people.
