I am still jobless today cos I refused to sleep with my boss to retain my job. my boss simply decided to make that a criteria for retaining me...From all indications my situation of having lost my Dad and having siblings in the University depending on me for their fees and daily sustenance made me his perfect victim. I did call his bluff and he made sure I was dropped. I graduated from the University among the top 10 of my class but sexual assault rife in the industry won't let me practice my profession. I am a second class upper graduate in male dominated field yet I am still jobless. I believe the society we live in today celebrates mediocres and neglects excellence .I believe someday I will get a job that will not require me loosing my integrity.To all the ladies out there suffering one form of sexual assault or the other....you are not alone. If you get hired because of sex, you'll continue to grow in the job through sex, it doesn't stop, it continues. When the single male or female decides to settle down, it becomes difficult. What do you tell your partner? How do you manage your sex life?
If you the single applicant meetings a single boss, it's okay to establish a relationship( not having sex) and see where it can take you both. It has to be strictly relationship and not for the purpose of being getting hired. It takes a lot of self discipline and God to do that though.
