ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm Ibo n grew up in Lagos with 90% of my friends being Yorubas. I truely felt the ibo populace took the obas utterances too far by making unnecessary mockery of the king. I also realised the Yoruba populace was very passive during this ordeal just watching the whole episode. We shuld have it mind that a yoruba man tolerates the excesses of an average ibo man while a hausa can hardly have anything to do with us. I know we the Ibos can't try this in the north. We shot ourselves on the foot during the just concluded election and now we are still showing more ignorant attitude.
